Hey I'm New....

Hey,

I just wanted to introduce myself. Hi, my name is Matic Mirnik and I live in Slovenia. I am fairly new to trial bikes so I have a few questions.

- I have a bike, Its not for trials.... Has a front suspension, The frame is made from aluminum and it's 17.5" in size.

- I removed all the unnecessary stuff, sadly it still seems very heavy.

- I adjusted the front suspension to the max hardness, but I think I would be better off without suspension at all....

- I'm from Slovenia and good bikes are really hard to get, I think that I could use my bike till I get better at it and then buy a new one.....

- I wonder if my bike is good enough for me to learn trials?

- I need to know how to begin.....

- Right now I'll try learning how to successfully balance myself.

- The biggest mystery of all to me seems to be the way you get to get onto your rear tire.....

Some help regarding this sport, how do I begin, what do I need..........

Thanks,

Fort Ash

Welcome fellow Newbie!

I'm sure all the good people on this website will be more than happy to answer any questions you have, as they have done with me.

In the meantime, try clicking on the 'Wiki' section at the top of the page for a beginners guide to the basics.

Also, (don't tell anyone I told you! ha ha!), but maybe explore trashzen.com.

I also feel I must congratulate you on your use of our English language.

Your post was a great deal easier to read and understand,

than some written by my fellow countrymen.

Wishing you and your country, a very Merry Christmas.

Hey,

First of all I want to thank you for all your replies....... So fast  .....

Thanks for all the good wishes and the welcomes. And thanks middleageman, you are the first one who ever noticed my english...

The bike is a simple mountain bike, but it was very cheap. I have already looked into the tutorials on the site trashzen.com so I now have the basic idea on how to begin.

I'll report on how I'm doing and on my progress every often, and I hope I wont abandon yet another sport.

Thanks again,

Fort Ash
