No offense but the worst set up you could run mate.

Ever considered rock blues with a grind?

If the pistons aren't coming in or out properly, of course it's gonna affect the hold.

Not really, it will affect the initial speed of the bite, but once the pads are against the rim it will hold just the same (in fact better because it takes longer to move back)

It's because of the Magura black pads, not lazy pistons! Those pads are truely terrible! Have a look on Tartybikes or somewhere and see what they recommend for smooth rims (if you want to keep it smooth) I can't remember what's good on smooth now!

If you want to get a grind, I'd personally recommend Koxx Blox browns. They're amazing on my brake!

Mine were utter shite when they were a wee bit sticky.

Anyway, as has been said, change the pads!

Ok, people has got a different opinions. I personally think this might help you out.

If you got no cash you could:

1: Put some tar on your rims. (But DON'T trust the brakes 100%!)

2: Put a grind on your rim. (Your black pads will run down fast)

If you got cash (Go on to www.tartybikes.co.uk):

1. Get some Rock (Blue) pads.(And get a grind)

2. Get some Plazmatic Spanish Fly. (And put tar on your rims.)

I hope this helps you out!
