Muel Posted January 9, 2009 Report Share Posted January 9, 2009 Using a BB7 on a 203mm rotor means that the caliper is spaced further from the hub, so you've got more leverage on the mount.I do see your point though, if you're landing a gap or whatever and yank the brake on, with a mono trial it might slide a bit before it stops the wheel, when a BB7 with a huge rotor would stop it straight away and flex the frame.
