dan_scho Posted March 7, 2009 Report Share Posted March 7, 2009 Hi, I'm new to Trials Forum!I live in Leeds, I'm fairly new to trials but I've been getting the hang of it on my dirt jump bike. I recently bought a frame from marino, it's a 24" one. Im going to build it up with parts from my dirt jump bike, I've already got the front brake, wheels etc.I was wondering what leeds was like to ride? I've not got the eye for trials much yet! Hebden bridgeHuddersfieldBradfordSkiptonRedcar Pudseyand the list gose onthere are quite alot of riders dotted around that will be more than happy to ride with you your best bet would be to come on a group ride and meet a few of the locals and a few of us from near by there is a ride this easter as shown in RIDES/LOCATIONS in full members Wouldent be a bad idea to attend as there will be a few lads of all levels p.s welcome to the forum and hopefull ride soon (add me to msn if you like can set up a ride in the near future) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

COCKY Posted March 8, 2009 Report Share Posted March 8, 2009 U missed keighley I did say Skiptondanny Reyy, keighley.I came from there!Bit of a shit-ole now though It's alright....As why i said Skipton rather than k-towni do too just need abit of cash to build it, need a freewheel and some other parts, should be done very soon i think ile attend would be good to meet a few of youThe trials scene around leeds can be pretty shit,BUT if you get all of the lads out from say the list above i.e mike winton,little sam ,eudwardo smith,ben l,rossy c etc ... can turn into a very fun day (= there are also a few riders dotted around on pashleys and a megamo maybe your type of riding who knows but i know where they live so can get them out for you also there was a guy who lives by one of the spots in leeds on what i think is a leeson but not sure however hes just started and been riding a couple of months ill take you to him if you like Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
