Mockett
My Gu feels very heavy at the front, and ive been looking at my Parts and the all seen to be quite light except my front wheel. Ive compared it to the more "up to date" wheels and mine seems to bee double walled and i was wondering if there was any way of making it single walled without splashing out the cash.. so to cut a long story short can and has anyone removed a wall and if so how did they do it? DannyBazz (:
grind it out, then file down the sharp bits. But first.. what rim do you have??
LukasMcNeal
grind it out, then file down the sharp bits. But first.. what rim do you have?? Yeah, your best bet is using a dremel or similar then filing to smooth. If its a double wall my guess is its a echo urban rim?

DannyBazz (:
they say BT bike trials on it (fluro pink) Hmm never heard of that brand.... The easiest way to be 100% sure it is double walled, take off tire/tube/rimtape. You'll be able to see quite clearly whether its single/double walled. And I don't think a dremel would be powerful enough?
