Toxsin 26"

The stem is very funky :P

The bike came with a Try-All stem on it but I wanted my GU bars on it and unfortunately the clamp size on the Try-All was too small :(

Things to change:

Stem

Brake pads (I think the current ones are TNN Balaeys looking at the colour. Blue but too dark for Rockman pads and Heatsink blues)

Freewheel (Current one is shimano which will do for now but really need a freewheel with more engagements

Front rim (Current is a Mavic disc only rim but I want to put my white Try-All Rim on it (Ebay £8!))

Put a 4bolt booster on it.

Thats about it really :)

how comes you want to change your pads? are they not working for u?

Pads work OK and will work better with the regrind on Sunday but they are nearing the end of their useful life

That looks really nice, and thats a bargain for that price.

I really do like that.

Cheers :D

Better than my Base TA26 anyway :P

Wow you got yourself a really good bargain! Toxsin's were really popular I remember they all rode really well!

Looking forward to some photos/videosof it in action :).

It does ride really nice :) So easy to keep on back wheel

And I'll have to fix my camera first :P

  • 1 month later...

that bike brings back memorys, mine from about 2 years ago, seen it change hands on here a few times, surprised by how only a few things have changed in that time :-D

Only really frame, back, wheel and cranks can be the same :/

Forks, Front brake, Front wheel, Bars, Stem and headset have all been changed recently :D
