What geometry is your bike. Generally a high bb needs to be coupled with a reasonably high front.

Having ridden both low and high front ends on a variety of 26" frames i can definitely say that i prefer a high front to a low one.

Best bet is to have a play with both stems and see what you take to more. Also, bars have a profound effect on the feel of your bike, what are you running atm?
