Blake Posted October 4, 2012 Report Share Posted October 4, 2012 Basically mashed a bit of my FSA orbit equipe headset today fitting it, not good. The top cup has a part that has folded in, It works alright I think but seems a bit bodged in there. I do have some spare cups around, but can you mix and match sealed bearing cups? it's a 36 degree angular bearing. Is it just a case of will it fit in the cup? if it's snug shall I go for it? dezmtber Posted October 4, 2012 Report Share Posted October 4, 2012 You can mix some parts together yes. Best bet is keep it to headsets that use the same size bearings. And try the top cover before fitting as a lot of the top covers are slightly different, sometimes u can use thin spacers to modify the top covers if they don't quite fit.
