Gentlemen,

Hope you all had a nice weekend.

I'm still looking for a front disc break and came a cross an Avid Juicy 3.5. Anyone got any experience with this? Also; I need some pointing towards the right direction when it comes to discs. The guy in question is selling it w/o a disc so I'll need to buy one.

Thanks in advance,

Hessel

well, I have Avid juicy 3. its like that but in black

I use it on a 160 disc on a mod, and well, it is just enough for me, but I am a beginner.

I would not advise it for you except if its cheap and you are a beginner

This is my first disc brake, I rode an hs11 ungrind and black maggies on it, and it does the job well, altough I will change it as I will progress further on

wait for another review and help, maybe it is just my system, I got it used

I've got a Juicy 5 for sale.

Works perfectly, has EBC red pads that are 2 rides old, and I can supply it with a matching Avid 203mm rotor too (no adaptor)

I was using it up until last week, but I got a Saint so I have no need for it.

All clean & ready to use, no contaminated pads or rotor.

I have no idea what the Monty stuff requires, but it's a normal post mount brake, pretty much every rigid fork will need the usual post to I.S adaptor, I'm sure someone can clear up what they Monty forks need.

The rotor will bolt straight onto that hub yes, normal 6 bolt.

You'll need the adaptor & rotor bolts.
