Hi guys ok well after a few months ago buying a duff or possibly fake giant trials bike, I have recently sacked off that idea and purchased a retro Planet X I believe it's a zebdi of some description but not sure what year or model it has a bent seat tube on this model.... Anyway I'm building it up as we speak, but recently purchased a set of approx late 90s to 2000s HS33 with the external red adjuster knob type but don't have a clue how to install the fronts as the boosters don't fit over the v brake fork mounts do I have to get the evo plate onto my v brakes or can I use the originals and drill out slightly or do I need the evo adapter kit and if so what do I actually need? All the info I keep finding is on the newer 2005 models.finally also on the rear it's standard with magura mounting points do I literally use the existing mounts that came standard with magura direct onto the frame mounts and if so any recommended bolt sizes to suit as I have none with my brakes pictures would be great I'm a very visual mechanic!!!!

I don't understand the question but it sounds like you need a V-adaptor for the forks so your HS33's will fit. The slave cylinders are the same across the board so anything for 2005 onwards should work.

As for bolts, check tartybikes.co.uk they will most likely have Magura specific ones, if not I believe they are a normal M4 Allen bolt.

Ur a star and yes they have got everything I need basically I was trying to say my frame has built in magura mounts on the rear but not front forks but my rear booster is too narrow to fit across plus the front hole on the booster is too small too and I didn't know how to mount them but I've just seen on tarty I think what is exactly what I need so nice 1 and wish me luck with my guess work from here!!
