SQuiT-man Posted June 13, 2005 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 Ride around for a minute with the rear brake o as heavy as you can force movement with, so they get really hot. TheMunn Posted June 13, 2005 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 Burning the pad's is good, but not on the disc, use muc off to clean the rotor, then go over again with disc brake cleaner. ScotchDave Posted June 13, 2005 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 If your pads seem shiny then take them out, get a piece of sandpaper, place the sandpaper on a very flat surface (for example a window) and sand the pads in a circular motion. dave33 Posted June 13, 2005 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 1, remove pads 2, remove disc put in sink with hot water and fairy 3, bake the pads in the over 4, get the pads and file a small amount off the suface untill you can see new material 5, replace disc and pads 6, bed in as normal Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
