Those of you that have studied the calendar on the BikeTrialUK web site will know that there is an indoor event taking place in the Slovak republic, details from the organisers can be found below.

Please pay special attention to the limitations placed on entries, they have been underlined.

If the number of entrants exceeds the criteria set by the organisers a selection process will be imposed, based on an individuals final position in the 2005 British/World championships. If you intend to ride please contact BikeTrialUK as soon as possible.

The competition follows the B.I.U. rules.

16.00 – 20.00 Licence control: Categories Elite, Master, Senior, Expert

20.00 JURY - confirmation of the Start list of categories Elite, Master, Senior, Expert

25th March 2006 (Saturday)

10.00 – 13.00 Licence control: Categories Poussin, Benjamin, Minime, Cadet, Femina Puchov – Multipurpose Sport Hall

Technical control: 30 minutes before the start – all the categories except for Master.

Technical control for Master is on Saturday 15.00 – 15.30

26th March 2006 (Sunday)

9.00 – 10.00 Approving of the Start list for categorie Poussin, Benjamin, Minime, Cadet, Femina and approving of the sections by JURY

10.00 - 12.00 Competition for Poussin, Benjamin

12.15 - 15.00 Competition for Cadet, Minime, Femina

15.00 – 15.30 JURY meeting – approving of the results

15.45 Price ceremony for Poussin, Benjamin, Minime, Cadet, Femina

Elite and Master categories

Maximally 8 riders can start in each of categories Elite and Master. The priority to start in category Elite and Master have got first of all those riders, who finished at the 1st up to 8th place in Elite or Master at WBCH 2005. Those riders who did not finish up to 8th place at WBCH will get chance to start in case, that we will not get 8 entries till 24th February 2005 for each category Elite and Master from riders who did finish up to 8th place.

Elite and Master Finals

Qualify for the Finals: 4 riders qualify to the Finals if there will be 8 riders in the competition. If there will be 6 riders in the competition then only 3 riders qualify to the Finals.

Penalization time: There will not be any penalization time. Rider has to get through all the section in the set time. If he does not complete all the sections, he will get 10 penalty points per each missed section.

The order of the section is free.

Protests: Rider can make protest and hand it to the director of the competition 10 minutes after the end of time for competition set for corresponding category except for Elite and Master category. Elite and Master riders must hand their protest up to 5 minutes after the finish of their competition. Deposit per making protest is 40 EUR and this amount counts only per one issue. In case the protest will not be accepted organizer keeps this deposit

Entries: by 24th February 2006

From each country registered in E.B.U. 2 riders can start in each kategory (except for Elite and Master category).

In case that there will not be entered enough riders by 24th February, the organizer will fill up the number of riders with riders from those countries which would like to enter more riders to the competition.

Elite and Master category: in this category can start only those riders who are on the list of Elite and Master riders for 2006 from Mr. President Hirano.

Starting fee: 10 EUR per rider, this fee will be paid at the licence control

Insurance: Organizer insures the event only for the case of damage towards the third persons during the competition. Every riders must have own accident insurance and insurance in case of an injury or damage caused to the third person.

Applications for selection will close on Monday the 20th of February.

If you intend to apply, please include the following info in your email.

DOB.

RIDING CLASS.

BIU LICENCE No.

Those selected to ride will be contacted after the above date. It must be understood that, if selected, a firm commitment to attend will be required.
