Recently I've been considering my options as far as the above are concerned. However, there is so much to consider.

My main worry is financially.

I will be moving to a different town, but it is not too far away from where I currently live, plus I have good friends in the destination town already, so friends are not a problem.

So like I said, it's the finance. I've been considering posting for a while to be honest, but it felt like the questions I wanted to ask were a little too personal and nobody would reply, but after seeing all the honest replies to the how much do you earn thread, I think the forum would respond positively now.

Anyway here goes:

1. How old were you when you moved out?

2. How much did you earn at said point in time?

3. Where did you move to? (House+mortguage? Room+rent?)

4. How much did accommodation cost?

5. Were you happy with your decision, and could you live comefortably?

Cheers, any insight is much appreciated (Y)

1. 18

2. £15,000

3. 3 bed semi rented

4. £485pcm

5. I had no choice my parents went to live in another country.

I would say that the biggest shock is the amount of people you need to deal with concerning bills and such.

Remember you need to sort stuff like.

Gas

Water

Electric

Council tax

Rent/Mortgage

Phone/internet line/bill

Tv licence

:o

Apart from that you have to wash your own clothes too which is fun, (Y)

But you can do what ever you want like walk round with your mess out and have wild parties everynight.

Fun, Fun, Fun :)
