Snake Problems

hi guys

I have an 38,5 wide rim with a wtb timberwolf on it.The tire is 1 year 3 months old and how i see i get snake at sidewall...Can the sidewalls get thiner by heavy use or can be the grinding the problem.My rim's end at the tire part is like knife maybe that makes me the problem...help please

The IRC El Gato used to get easier to snake bite (puncture by the inner tube getting squashed on the rim edges) as they got older, not sure if its the same for your tyre?

Maybe its just a combination of your rim and an old tyre now.
