Hurman
Sunday was the final round of the Tyke Trial championship this year and what a way to end it. 10 sections completed twice gave the 90+ riders a full days entertainment with some frantic section hoping towards the end of the day to get through them all before darkness fell. After a year of mainly wet trials Brimham dealt us a windy but mild and dry end to the year with plenty of grip available and some very well set out sections to challenge all levels. All classes had a healthy entry and the beginner class had it's biggest entry of the year. At one trial there was only one entry for this class but next year is looking promising for a good entry on each round. Two of the beginners dad's were also riding on Sunday along with John Peacock who was showing Robbie all he knew...... so it is becoming a real family affair Thank you to all the organisers and observers for their support and commitment through the year to put on such excellent and well organised events. We are very lucky to have such a good club running in the UK and producing world class riders and bringing on the next generation of riders. There are many people who make the club run but the three key people for me are Barbara, John and Wayne who have been a tremendous help this year and made all the difference to my kids enjoyment at each round. If you would like to be part of this successful team there are places available in the club for various responsibilities, all the details are on the TykeTrials website which can be accessed through http://www.biketrialuk.co.uk Well done to everyone who rode on Sunday and put a great end to a most enjoyable year. Can't wait for 2007

Waynio
ye a big thanks to all observers and people who have helped out over the 2006 season.was real good to see so many new faces and new riders there, really good to see so many people coming along so quickly, Brett (planet-x boy) on here came to one early this year and i think was just getting into the competition side of things and has progressed alot over this year i think he has won the expert category? there is a young man from barnsley way whose dad observes most of the time again a young ish lad who really has taken to it this year. then theres the two crazy kids adam and elliot raven, then theres the "adult class" John peacock and neil raven (and unfortunatly iv crept into this class this year too...) also the young lad that rides a GU Typhoon 20" from Burnley way, i think its dan swindlehurst, his dad and his brother 3 exceptional people who i have alot of time for and Dan has such a unique style and get up and go about himself. the usual lads that im around day in day out when practising and just hanging around, Bucky, Lovatt, Morton, Ginger (dislexic) Dan. has made 2006 a good laugh. Hope to see you all next year.PEACOCK!!!!! bell me when robbie gets his new bike, he can show me how to go along@ this street riding malarky.........a major thank you goes out to Barbara Wright i think she deserves alot of the credit from anyone and everyone for her hard work through Biketrial UK and Tyke Trial, her son chris has not ridden for a number of years YET barbara still puts all the effort in as if her lad was still riding.Cheers to all. ta ta.Waynio............................EDIT: The BOYES master for the W!N!!!!!!!! good show,i need to get out practising a bit more with Mr Chris Boyes just to see what he puts in his shoes. JohnIt hurts to type at the moment! Arms legs back neck knees, pride I'm really glad you talked me into having a go because I had forgotten just how much fun it was and just how crap I had got With any luck I should enter most of the rounds next year assuming I can move by then WayneYou have a really positive effect on the kids, burping, farting shouting and generally acting daft and the kids aren't much better!! Adam cleaned every section on the second round and wanted to do section 6 again so he could show you how well he had done. I totally agree with your comments on how riders have improved over the year, I have noticed some real advances in confidence and skill levels over the year in all classes. Hopefully all this watching will rub off on my riding Now where did I put my gurdle..................
