How To Remove A Crank?

You need a crank puller, if you haven’t got one there is no point in me explaining how it works because nothing will work like it, BUT....

there is another way that works some times, if your careful and that is boil the kettle and pore boiling water over the crank where it fits onto the bottom bracket and then give it a good whack with a soft hide hammer
