Which Size Tyre

what size tyre should i get for my mod 2.25 or 2.50 for a t-bird i have got a 2.25 size tyre on at the moment would a 2.50 one be better or worse

ps i got a trials bike now and have just started trials

A 2.5" tyre will be much more stable than a 2.25", so I would recomend you to get a 2.5"

2.5 it gives better control on back wheel.

Little bit more weight but nothign to complain about.

I always go for the largest I can get in the frame, the larger the tyre you have the lower the psi I you can run, this will help with giving you a little extra spring and more grip.

Go for the 2.5 mate. It will definatly be better and it won't add a lot of wight, you won't even notice the extra weight.

i've always liked the maxxis creepy crawlers about £15-£18 a tyre so not that bad. I'd go for them or maybe a try-all but they cost a bit more

I agree with every one else go for the 2.50, what ones well i think the maxxis creepy crawlers are excellent but the try-all tyres are also superb.

Go for the try-all tyre, my mate is runing them on his bike and he runs about 8psi in the rear and has never had a puncture . well worth the extra money mate

2.50 will be much more stable and i think you should get the Maxxis Creepy Crawlers.

if you are using a 2.25" then I presume you are using a 20" wheel (rather than 19") if this is true then you cant use any of the tyres people are reccomending, I think 2.25" could be the largest you can get.

Another point, dont go for the largest tyre you can get if you are using a thin rim, the tyre fold you would get would be a nightmare.

Well I am running a 2.4" on a 20" and no problems there.

If you have a 19" wheel, then Creepy Crawlers ***!!.

If not, then just get yourself a rear sticky finger tyre.

once you go and ride off camber rocks with a low pressure, you will get serious tyre foldage.
