Bottom Bracket Help

Recommended Posts

ok, im looking to get a new bottom bracket and are unsure of what size to get and how the freewheel will fit on. i will probably be getting either a truativ gigapipe dh, or a skf bfr 300. as i said before, im unsure of what size to get. i have a t lite if it helps. and the freewheel will be either a acs claw 18 tooth welded or a tensile. i have looked at other posts but cant find out how the freewheel fits onto the bb. it looks like the freewheel has a thread in it but i cant see a thread on the bb. thanks

ooohhhhhh. thats how its done. i get it now. thanks. so when i go to take off my crank thats on my bike at the moment, how would i go about it? does it unscrew or what? thanks to your help

If your on about how to take the cranks off you will need a crank extractor/puller, or a rubber mallet.

If your on about taking the freewheel off you will need the proper tool, look on www.Tartybikes.co.uk.
