  1. Wow, takes me right back to the semi-old days... a.) What happened to some of the old guys, Sharn etc? b.) More old vids please!
  2. I've got a 2GB Nano, and I think it's ace. It does everything I want and nothing more. Almost perfect in design, I'd say. It's a little scratched but nothing I wouldn't expect. The reason these are getting scratched more than the old ones is actually stupidly simple: the old/normal ipods, even the mini's, are really too big to just throw in your pocket if there is anything else in there, but the Nano is so damn small you find yourself just sticking it in any pocket and forgetting you have keys/coins/phone in there already. Hey presto, fooked Nano. If you put any ipod in a bag with some keys and coins and shook it around for a few hours a day it would get scratched too. Tip for the day: put it in the little inner pocket that you have on your jeans. It's a perfect fit and there's no chance of it jangling around with all the other shite you keep in your pockets :D Tom (a happy Nano owner).
  3. I 'aquired' it a few weeks ago, Joe, and I'm right behind you on this one - top film. Tarantino was a cameo director for it, and it shows... If you liked Pulp Fiction, watch this. Also, I found out the other day that there are tweo more to come - this is just the first installment (Y)
  4. Sorry dude, but I goin with the negative crew on the tattoo. It doesn't float my boat at all. On the other little topic here, one of my mates had the back of his neck done a while ago - looked so brutal when they were doing it, but they numbed it and he said it really didin't hurt. I think on him it looks ace, it really suits him but doubt it's for everyone. I'd rather have that done than a tat; at least you can take it out if you don't like it.
  5. So let me get this straight... out of the 30 odd people who have replied, most have tried to chat this thing up or even more worringly tried to shag it, and all it wants is to beat one off? I don't know if I should be more worried about a wanking internet robot or you guys (Y)
  6. Hey Dan, you should be ok to take that lip off. Ashton was (/is... I'm not sure) running those rims in 26" and he ground them, so I'm sure you'll be fine (Y) I take it everything is in order?
  7. Get the image loaded up, press Ctrl+T then look up at the top of the window, there should be three boxes, in one of them you can up the size of the image. If that doesn't work, post up again (Y)
  8. Yeah, sorry about that... You think it was annoying you though, it's taken me ages to finally nail the b*****d thing! I did have my MSN name as "Gay viruses :@ Don't open any links I send unless I tell you they're safe first!" though, so it's not like people weren't warned! Google for something called 'stinger', that's what sorted it for me. Edit: http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ There it is: DL and run it. Takes a while, but it sorts the problem.
  9. Aaah, cheers (Y) Not a bad guess off the top of my head then!
  10. Have a look at these: http://www.airbornkites.co.uk/catalogue/ki...foil/flexi8.php I've got a 3.5m ('bout 11.5') Radsails (cheaper version of the Bullet) and it lifts me off the ground, no problems. Scarily so - if there's enough wind to move the trees a bit, there's enough to get some jumps in (Y) If you get into it, for a bit extra the dirtboards can be real good fun too.
  11. Basically, I know where there is an Apple G3 ibook going seriously cheap, but the screen on it is fooked. I looked on a couple of sites for replacements, but they come in at about $200 (which is a bit over £100 I'm guessing). Anybody that's in the know, do you think it's worth me going for this laptop and fixing it (at <£200 it would still be cheap I think) or should I steer clear? Are they hard to replace? Any thoughts (apart from 'macs are shit, get a windows laptop' ones) welcome (Y)
  12. I hope to God that if you do start making frames nobody buys one, for their sake! You can buy used arc welders for about £30, so is there any need to bodge things in such a monumentally huge way? I could go into detail about this topic, but the fact is I'd be wasting my time. Anyone who has looked into a project like this seriously will know what I mean.
  13. Get your priorities right, man. If you can't weld, you're wasting your time making a jig. When we did our custom frame we didn't use a jig and we couldn't get it spot on, despite everything being clamped down to a lathe bed (i.e. perfectly flat). What I would suggest is: 1. Learn to weld. 2. Weld together a good quality jig 3. Now start making your frame. I'd suggest finding a frame that's closest to what you want, and building the jig round it, making small changes as you go. Yes this will all take time, but if you actually want to get a rideable frame out of it then time is needed.
  14. I had the same problem with my rear wheel, and: ^^^ That's what I would have said, only he put it better (Y) Also, I found that if you put all the spokes in one side then lace it up, rather than doing one at a time it's easier. Overall I think 4x is a moose to do (Y)
  15. Sorry for this flurry of shite all of a sudden, but this is absolutely golden :D Click here and get ready to laugh :P Right, I'm turning the net off now so I HAVE to do some work! Over and out. Tom
