  1. I talked to the guys and he said the hub wasn,t designed for the strain of a 26 inch wheel. He also said something about when it is built it shouldn't be spun until its on the bike cos it is all supposed to tighten up. personally to me it sounds odd has anyone heard of that before. cheers
  2. How long you been riding trials for, cos im at the same sort of stage as you and i just wonder what rate you progressed. Nice vid by the way the second ones better looks more recent.
  3. I wonder i anyone can help me decide on my next step with my hub. I got profile 116mm profile hub with 12t on a 26 inch wheel. It was running fine for 2 and half months then it started slipping so i sent it to profile and they sent me it back with the wheel still made up with a knacked hub shell and a new rebuilt hub. But now i think the same is gonna happen again. So do you think i should chance it, and get the wheel rebuilt or get a new hub. My options so far are getting an onza t- master with a 14 t acs freewheel which is cheap but i'm sacrificing my 12t which i love, or getting a chris king bmx which is well expensive and don't no if it will do the same as a profile. If anyone has any suggestions on any other hubs please could they advise or if anyone owns chris king tell me if they as good and as durable as the price states. cheers.
  4. I had the same problem with my holroyd my 24 seven hub shreded up so i got a profile. mines lasted 2 n half months before i nearly ate the floor when the freehub decided not to catch. mines being repaired at the moment but im wondering if it will do it again in another couple months. im running a lesser gear at 16t - 12t maybe thats why i got a bit longer than you. first of all i put it down to my weight cos im quite big but if it does it again im gonna sell it and get a chris king. laters
  5. My holroyd, changed a lot, gearing was a bit stiff so i got a 16 tooth super pro crank. its short in length and im quite tall so i got the biggest stem i could find surprisingly better. Only changed the wheels cos im stupid and like spending money, profile hub etc. p.s the grips are pretty cool, or were until i wore them down due to excessive use. down sides: the crank arms run really close to the magura, keep getting my trainer caught in between, peddles are dangourous shredded up the back of my legs. cheers
  6. My slightly adjusted holroyd. profile rear hub with try-all rim hope front with try-all rim middleburn super pro crank holroyd frame and forks
