Sexy mofo! Rides pretty nice as well I bet?!

I voted white, but if it was my personal choice, then I'd do silver rims....

Thanks dude, didn't even think of that! Just measured it up and guess what, you're right! Will probably do that, or though it has just occured to me that my cranks/pedals are also kind of close to the frame at the moment, so wider axle might rectify?..... thanks again

BB length at the moment is 118mm. Measured the bash at about 5mm, but this shouldn't affect it that much as the cranks have a splined area that should allow for this. I've tried to explain with a pic below:
-
Story so far: ON my 231 monty, i'm using tensile optimum cranks with an eno. I didn't have a bash on there as I was waiting the 18t tensile UCI one to be in stock. Anyway, it arrived saturday, and I managed to fit it ok, however, when I bolted the crank back on, the tabs rubbed on the bb before I had it fully tightened. Suffice to say, I unbolted the crank and removed the bash, re-fitted my eno, and all was fine. Seems strange as there IS clearance between the eno and bb (about 2mm max) when I don't use a bash, but as soon as I do, it must just throw it out a fraction. Anyway, I obviously need a longer bb, but my problem is I want to use as short an axle as possible i.e. keep my existing chainline, and it's stronger; so I've narrowed it down to the following: monty 124 axle or Try-All 122.5 axle What do people recommend I do? Any other suggestions? What are the above products like? Oh and the current bb is a 118 and I'm using an Echo fixed rear hub with 6 speed cassette thanks

Avid Bb7 Or Hope Moto's *calling All Rear Disc Users*
bikerider replied to ian's topic in Trials Chat
Don't know if this is any help, but I'm using the moto lever with an 07 trial caliper...and it is amazing! Loads of modualtion, bite etc, but is also alot more adjustable. Havn't tried a bb7 though, so I can't comment. Perhaps use the smaller rotor? I'm interested to try as so many people rave about them.... -
Just to finish this off, I've now re-bled the system with 5.1, and it is worth the extra pennies. I've tried 4, it's a good alternative, but the 5.1 is where it's at thanks Dan

Damn nice! and you're getting a third bike Lucky mofo
-
Awesome vid, awesome riding..as has been said, well worth the long download
-
I normally ski in January, but won't be this year due to Uni - DAMN PROJECTS WEEKS! Seriously love it though, I think if lived somewhere nearer the slopes I would actually hibernate the bike as soon as the snow starts falling!
-
I tried the syringe method before on a mini I think, but I thought the bleed nipples were a one-way valve?
-
Exactly what I mean by the modulation feeling 'fuzzy'. It IS ok, but it's always in the back of your mind that it's not quite right.... Out of interest, does anyone use the Hope Bleeder kit or is it just a waste of money?
-
Thanks for replies. I've bled it through with dot 4 as that's all I could get hold of and it feels OK. still got lots of bite, but feels kind of 'fuzzy' on the modulation (really couldn't think of a better word to describe it -honest! ) Looked through handbook, and it DOES recommend 5.1, might re-bleed tomorrow with some. thanks again
-
Dot 4 or Dot 5.1? And what damage, if any, would Dot 3 do? It's a bit thinner, but the difference is very minimal as far as I can see....
-
alright....calm down... I thought it should be closed as it uses up space on the server or something, but if you SO want it left up, then I'll change it back. My first question was answered, and it was only a small question, and no-one 'could be arsed' to reply my second question, so I found out for myself and thought it might as well be closed..but meh And for the guy that said 'it really does my head in' ... you knwo what really does my head in???? People having a moan or rant about such a minor thing...does it REALLY matter!?
-
I'll go, but can someone PLEASE TELL ME WHERE 'THE SHELL CENTRE' is and how to get there?!
-
Answered....mods please close

anyone????? thanks in advance
