  4. That maybe sounds a bit strange, but what about take out hard disk from its drive? I have got some old hard disk and it's 95mm, stainless steel and has nice titanium colour :]
  5. I've found there are also 100mm shell/148mm spindle BBs made by Truvativ: Gigapipe Team DH
  6. Directly from street and roofs' surface <_<
  7. Compare now full bike weights of benito ros' from biketrial-spain (8.620g)and oryginal koxx benito ross xtp from koxx.fr (8300g). Seems like there is no point for buying xtp direct from benito, cause it is heavier than oryginal ;p Yeah, I know - for sure weights on koxx.fr are slightly "tuned" - they all smelled not good to me from the beginning.
  8. The white 26 frame (in explosion scene) was Dangerous Mike Trial. Dangerous Mike generally produces stuff for freeride, DH etc but for some time produced also that frame. WB~1060mm BB~+20mm. There are only few in Poland cause production was stopped (frames was very easy to snap).
  9. Quite decent video, but wait especially for the last scene (Y) :) Linky
  10. VP Double Cage - also sold as Planet X, Try-All, Echo etc., but actually they're all the same (the only differences are colours and stickers). There are also Monty Double Cages - like VP's but have stronger, 7075 cages. Weight - about 450 grams. My experience - good enough for biketrials - grippy (if not to your shoes - stick to shins very well (Y) ) and light and my vp's started to come loose just after 6-7 months of usage - comparing to platforms (Wellgo) of my mates coming loose after FEW MINUTES of ride it's excellent result, don't it? There is also a minus - if you often land on pedals, the cages will quite easily bend (Monty cages are stiffer and don't bend so fast). Remember to tighten cage bolts every ride or at least once a week - that will slightly decrease cage bending.
  11. Add me (koxx@op.pl) to msn and we'll set up some mega ride in Poland >_<
  12. Maxxis hr single ply 2,35 is 850g (wire) or 810g (foldable), not 750: http://www.maxxis.com/products/bicycle/com...37&product_ids=
  13. So if isis bb's have lower load tolerances caused by smaller bearings, why not to make bb with isis axel downsized to the size of square tapered axel at places, where it contacts the bearings?
  14. Oh, that's mean it needs to be fixed by some special patches. So then I'll probably change the tube with some less radical one (Schwalbe DH 280g or Michelin C6 DH 330g) :] I simply don't trust standard cheap tubes. Anyway, thanks for advice :P
  15. Yes, it's blue (or green?). Does Michelin makes also black latex tubes? Or do you mean different manufacturer's one?
  16. Currently I use Maxxis DH tube (480g) and I want to try something lighter. I'm about latex Michelin C4 inner tube (~130g). How it will work on rear wheel? Is it easy to get a puncture with it? And if i get a puncture - can it be fixed with standard patches?
  17. One of my mates broke isis bb. I don't know what model it was - it was standard bb that comes with complete "trials" Author A-Gang A.M - probably FSA. But that was the only broken one I saw - I saw much more broken square tapers.
  18. I have Hussefelts 175mm with Gigapipe Team DH 128mm for few months and I would never come back to square taper (it was Monty CPI and cheap Shimano BB). I've noticed no disadvantages of moving from square to isis by far. And the advantages are: - BB not come loose - I always worried during removing or installing sqr taper crank on bb, because every time the crank interface got rounded more and more until it was unusable. With isis I can remove and install cranks even billion times and they have always the same shape as brand new. - Crank interface don't round off and by far didn't come loose. - I feel more secure with isis (maybe because of more stiffness) oh, I've just found one disadvantage: hussefelts with team dh bb are VERY heavy - some day I gonna move to middleburns, of course isis.

That frame isn't any prototype. Here in Poland, we have a local alloy frames welding factory, "Bikepol Mielec", which offers, of course, few serial production models but they also manufacture frames on demand - you send'em specs (geometry, tubing, number of CNC's, color etc.) and they make the frame for you. Yes, it's much cheaper than top biketrials brands :]
