  1. Tough call. On the one hand, height is a good bench mark to judge progression by - whether it's in bricks, inches or millimetres but it can make for a very dull ride/video if you get too obesessed by it. Personally I hate the idea that trials becomes dominated by people going I can get up a .... inch wall or do a ....gap. (But having said that, I know I'm guilty of it but I do try to focus more on the fun/flowy side of riding and not getting too bogged down with the height of a wall.) I do find that if I spend too long on one wall doing the same thing that I will eventually find something new to do on it which can be good. And as for Akrigg's vid....who says you can't flow on street stuff.
  2. I think the ones that are badged as DW are just the newer version. One other bit of advise, hang on to your receipt as they have a 5 yr warrenty (still think they do) and this has allowed me a few new sets for free as they do crack. Also if you run a stem with a wide clamp (i.e. Titec Big Al/Lil Al NOT Raceface) as they seem to last a lot longer, although they still crack. Cheers
  3. Nope, it's the fact that the Pro 2 Trials (6 spd cassette) doesn't seem to have enough room for a 6 spd 8 spd spacered cassette. If that makes sense.
  4. Just a quick query really to see if anyone else has noticed this. I know it's got a 6 speed freehub body on it but it seems to be a 9 spd freehub body not an 8 spd freehub body. All well and good but as I want to run an 8 spd Kool Chain I can't seem to get 6 gears out of it (the minor problem). The way I've currently got round it is by running 5 sprockets spaced at 8 spd and the last one has to be spacered at 9 spd otherwise the lockring won't tighten on. This means the last gear is unusable. I have tried 9 spd spacers and they definatly won't work with and 8 spd Kool and I don't want to go back to 9 spd chains. And yes, I know it's a really minor gripe with what is otherwise a stupidly good hub. But hey, there's always one! Cheers
