i can tell you that i usually train in natural spots with Jordi Rubio (2nd place on the overal Biketrial Worlds in Master class) and he is a beast. And when we move to some street riding, in about 10 minutes he's on the top 10 of the street riders also
I've tried thos liquid in competition and riding through the street and i can say you that a grind or instead of it our typical tar is well better than those thing Monty say's increase the power (in real life only increases the horrible sound when braking)
i'm running ZOO! bars + Echo stem in my Pitbull and it's really great, but a friend of mine have the one you're talking about and for me is not as comfortable as the Monty/Tryall riser + stem
I've always used the same mineral oil that Citroën used in their brake systems, suspensions and centralised circuits, and it's cheaper than Magura's oil (3.50 £/litre aprox) and performs better than water.
I used to ride a Monty 221 and two months ago i finally bought the new Zoo! Pitbull (1090mm) and it has been the better thing i've done since I started riding trials. I feel a lot more comfortable, fluid movements...of course you feel a bit silly the first weeks but after that...Oh My God! In my opinion you should go to stock mate
yo people, here's a little vid of mine edited with some simple footage that a friend filmed with his new Panasonic. theres no hardcore riding, but i think it's enjoyable. here's the link: http://tv.isg.si/site/?q=filebrowser/arv (NightHD) all the comments are wellcome
I live in a town near Barcelona (Spain) and in about 20 minutes i'm in Sabadell's Trialpark. It's a nice place to ride and almost all the Saturdays Jordi Rubio (an Spanish Master) is riding around there
