  1. they ride really nice mate a bit of flex from the rear not much though and sorted with a booster, also the reach on them is quite short due to the head angle, so the 1080 frame has a shorter reach than most other frames the same length, and the same with the long version.

but they are strong dont think anyone has damaged one yet???

  2. Grow some balls and warm your levers up when you ride

well thats constructive a?? and its not about balls really is it? who wants freezing fingers when it could be prevented? and who wants to stand and wank off the lever blades every 5 seconds??

oh let me guess if i dont wear a jumper and freez i will grow big balls?? come on think about it? it has a point thats why people do it.

  3. i like both equaly really, i love the chalenge of natural, and the fact it has so much lines in a small space, also i love street riding because you can measure progress more

but at the end of the day if you ride both, you improve both aspects of riding, ie balance is improved much more riding natural, so is the general control of your bike and the size and distance is improved much more doing street, so in turn they both compliment each other.

but usualy the people that hate natural, love themselves and like to boast that they can tgs 2 inches higher/further than you (unless you do proper street riding spins etc) - personal opinion obviously :)

  4. well me and quakers run the same set up minus the lever and our brakes are noisey with loads of bit and much more hold than any maggy ive ever used, so

i would sugest, a vee to anyone.

also plaz pads are not the best out there, get heatsink reds they are amazing, if not go for fat/joy pads they are as good if not better :)

  5. ok yea you can just glue it in it will be fine or get another v and nick one from there it might be a tighter fit.

also with the pads, if when you sat them up pull the lever tight enough so the pads are against the rim but you can move them, do one pad at a time, moving the pads about once in place really yank on the lever and tighten the pads up this usualy set's them in the correct place.

  6. nice ride mate,i have sarecen bars in my shed, really comfy (Y)

    steve

yea they are actualy and just as good as many others 7075 alloy so they should be spot on,

should hopefully get a vid out in the next month or so if i get off my arse and sort it lol?

  7. Decent riding though, maybe try to calm down on the back wheel a bit. Looks a pogo sticky!

if you had ever had a go on his bike you would know why, it just dont stop bouncing he runs super flat tyre and his bike weighs nothing, not a good combo, but if he ran some air or a maxxis it would be spot on.

  8. Haha yep, 32". Saracen Bars if i'm not mistaken, with extenders made for montybars.

    Looks nice ryan.

yea they are saracen bars from my original bike :) extended, i was trying to avoid metioning the crap component on the bike, but thanks to max my secret is out LOL

  9. i have to say i ride with max absolutly loads, and i ent ever seen him ride like that  what the fcuk had you eaten matey??

also i have to take a bit of credit for his riding as i nagged him for months and months to get of his silly mod and get a proper bike! he finaly listened to me and he is now getting better every week.

well done dude and i hope to have a bit of competition soon :)

  10. here it is i have it all finished now (apart from a spay job some time :) )

    spec is

    frame zhi z1

    forks echo urban

    pig headset

    tryall stem

    flat bars

    jagwire levers

avid ultimate with heatsink cnc red pads (on rear)

deore with heatsink cnc and joy pad (on front)

    zhi bottom bracket

tensile cranks & bash, with neon sprocket (seriously pimp)

pro 2, rear with tryall rim, maxxis tyre

planet x-dog front hub with tryall rim & continental tyre

  11. Yea bionic is quite tempting. The neon has mod rear spacing though which is pretty crap.

But I can get the GU cheap anyway ;)

yea i just remembered that, thats real shit them frames look mint as hell.

but trust me mate for the dollar the bionic looks real nice and the geo would be better for you than the le (lower bb, shorter wheele base and beter head angle)

  12. if i were you tom i would go for the bionic b1 or the neon frame from trial uk, they have mint geos and are cheep, which would save you some dollar to raplace your tank of a front wheel LOL.

the above frames are really mint plus they are a tiny bit shorter than the gu le and the czar which would suit your short arse mint???

also you know you should listen to me mate im never wrong LOL

  13. pro 2 is so much nicer, and more important the 07 ones are far more trustworthy than a king, easyer to service, sound better and the fact that 2x pro 2's are still cheeper than a top spec king (you really need the hd axel and freehub bit on a king, for it to be reliable).

so my verdict is a pro 2 07
