  1. it looks sooooo sweeeet, how does it rides? bet it is like dream :D

well i have only had a quick play on it and it does feel nice.

Looks 10000X better than the pure. Will be interesting to see how it rides, glad its not +50 as someone said it was... When you next out?

yea i think it looks better as well and its defo not +50

  2. i am sorry tarty but i dont aggree that is what vee's are like.

i run dual v with joy pad on the back , this is by far the best brake i have ever had, i have tried various pads on a magura and nothing compairs.

i alos run fat pad on the front, and the same again

but i have a ultimate v on the back and it makes the brake so much stiffer which prevents the problem of it working beter one way

    my advice get an ultimate,

  3. Alternatively, the Pro 2 ones would probably be a good bet?!

    chainreactioncycles.com

    Just pull like Rod Stewart

didnt realise they had pro 2 ones LOL oh well they are exactly the same, plus the pro 2 one you are tlaking about is a complete set for every thing in a pro 2, if it is just the main hub shell ones you need get the fatso set as they are the same bearings and cheeper than a complete set

  4. just been looking on tarty and a couple of frames fit that description quite well, adament a1 short or a zoo! pitbull short.........maybe i should get one of them!?

ive just got the geo off tarty and the short pure is still a bit long with a high bb .... Wheelbase: Short 1080mm, Long 1095mm

    Chainstay Length: 385mm

    BB Rise: 35mm

    Head Angle: 70.5 degrees

Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: Short 640mm (25.25"), Long 655mm (25.75")

i will definatly keep it in mind though dude, how old is it? mine was bought at the begining of december, been ridden a handful of times so is very good condition (now in bits as ive built the old giant up!) .....thanks for the offer, quite fancy a short pitbull though........

    how tall are you mate?

i know the wheel base is quite long on the short, but because of the head angle, 70.5 the reach is less than the pitbull making it quite a streety frame?

the short pitbull has a reach of 660 and my pure is 640, so the pitbull will feel longer still. but hey only trying to help.

oh mine is 3 months old, and good nic

  5. looks nice!! Orange isnt my fave colour, but it seems good on your bike.

(I want proof on weight though :- , stans is a lighter build and still weighs more)

yea max is runing, dob rear rim and big betty tyre, that is like half the weight of stans try all and maxxis set up, also 74 kings is lighter than a rollholf, and the bb on this is only 230-240g's ish, and this has a mono ti light 28 spoke front wheel (non-disk)???

  6. Here's where Fountaineblue is.

You can ride at Buthiers (Koxx days) which is like 30mins away, both absolutely phenomanel places to ride (Fountainebleu is very famous for rock climbing). If I was you, I'd sleep in tents. Unless you've each got a couple of hundred quid to splash out on dirty mattresses and shared toilets. Camping is more fun aswell, just arrive at the forest and set up camp somewhere. You can survive on like £15 for food and water each. The most expensive thing is going to be the ferry and petrol. Ferry cost me £80 and about £50 each way petrol. Shared between you and your mates, it'll work out to be a right good laugh holiday on a budget.

this is looking prommising at the mo, i will be driving me and 4 others with bikes :) so i will have transport to get places

  7. i will be down about 3:30ish, also the rocks are awesome, they always change because the stonemasons use them, also the dust ent bad at all when you have a decent brake i run v's with fat pads and medium grinds front and rear and i never have any probs,

also i have some better pics just not on this computer:(

  8. basicaly i am planing a long weekend away, with the old bike a few mates etc

but i have never been abroad to ride so i need some help.

any sugestions would be great, an area where there is loads of riding within close proximity to each other preferably, (would also like to do some natural riding as well)

let me know if you can help

and please give as much info as possible
