its easier to pull the freehub body off which will also push the knurled spacer off, then you dont scratch it with your pliers
-
thats the problem with trials now, companys started making different looking frames to stand out but now all frames are the same, i.e the zona zip is exactly the same as the 24-7, in design just a different size. The people at bike taiwan are running out of wierd looking frames

its just like other hope hubs:
Reamove wheel grip, cassette and pull off while twisting it anticlockwise
Clean all the pawls nd that,
remove all grease so it runs better
Dont go near it with wd40 or gt85 unless you want to f*uck your bearings
Slide the cassette body back on while twisting anticlockwise
Replace little spacer on end of axle
Done

steve has just been really busy, it too mine bout 10days to come, but he said it should all be sorted by last weekend, try emailin?
-
Mainly used for jumping but its set up for 4X.
beautiful

try one of the skf bb's off tarty, for £45 quid, other wise I have an fsa quad isis from chain reaction for bout £40, and thats still going strong, and is pretty light
-
I just changed to single speed and prefer it alot
The bike looks better with cleaner lines
If you run a fixed tensioner you wont get any chain slap so the bike is nice and silent
It makes a considerable difference to weight
I feel my back end is more out of the way, I was constantly worrying about my r mech before but the ss kit seems much more solid as its attached to the axle.
As ss kits go hope spacers and a gusset tensioner seem the best

I'm interested because sun are cheaper, and they are both lighter. They also may purely be better, although I imgaine i'll end up with a pro2
-
Does anyone know if Sun ringle, And Dt swiss hubs are any good for trials as I want something abit different to hope or CK?
Thanks

I think vp's are the best, sure the cages bend but they never break, if your wrecking cage pedals you'll certainly rip the pins out of a pinned pedal. Stick with vp's they're cheap too

I ordered a set of heatsink blues on friday night and they haven't arrived yet, are heatsink usually this slack when it come to delivery or should I start making enquiries
-
echo echo echo, its much nicer looking, better built and in my opinion has nicer geo
-
keep the cranks, theyre fine, although turbine lp's would be better, upgrade the forks, + get a new stem, possibly hope and spray your front rim black
-
Yeah, stick with a low bb frame, something steel would be good seeing as it sounds like your pretty heavy on frames, depends on your budget really but something like an Iolo would be good
-
your brother needs his helmet riding street, he goes over the bars alot
-
try all, nice nd thin
-
You could drill out the holes slightly larger then tap a larger thread in, then you would be running larger, stronger bolts, you would also have to drill out the magura clamps too
-
pretty poor really
whatever you choose will produce 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63,72 or 81, thats why all those numbers have the same symbol, simple
sorry to burst you bubble
-
try to carve smoothly, aim to get your front wheel near the top about 2/3's of the way along, your back wheel will follow, when your front wheel reaches the highest point pull off,
Also try fufano's on curbs thwen move them on to stuff like sub boxes, watch bmx stuff
-
The Viz hubs dont seem very good, my friends axle bolt snapped at the head after a week, also the bearings have very little sealing, possibly try one of the echo/ zoo offerings
-
did my year 10 at pashley's

The higher the number on the wet + dry the finer the grit is, use about 200 on the primer to give a key for the paint,
Use white primer, 500ml will be enough
To strip your frame use Nitromorse or B&Q paint stripper with a wire brush
-
they are generally quite weak levers but you only have to nip the bolts up
Snap!

im just highlighting the fact both companies have just looked through a bike taiwan catalog, said that one looks good, asked a rider for some geo and asked some taiwaniese company to make a batch of 100, therefore showing the amount of effort put into designing some frames
