I reckon Halfords paint sucks, it comes off really easy, you can see where it has rubbed off onto my trousers even after it was laquered, dont really see why you'd want a pink bike anyway but thats just me

skate shoes wth thin soles seem geneally good, offering feel, grip and protection

I think it needs diversity. Flowing street looks good and attracts attention from some backgrounds, like mtb street and bmx, while big stuff attracts less informed people and looks good on tv again attracting money etc

Raceface turbine LP's, best cranks ever, lifetime warrenty + cheaper and lighter than burns, they also look better

Matalan 'Strech, they're so comfy and unrestricting + only £12 so it dont matter if you rip them, + you dont look like a fool like you would in tracki b's

it sounds like its pretty haggered, if its beyond re tapping argos cycles in bristol can sort it by glueing a new sleeve in to the bb shell and tapping that

A good shop will do it, some helfrauds even do it

if bedding in techniques don't work, get some degreaser and liberally apply to the disc, after all else fails try some new pads, fibrax ones are pretty good, get reds for most power and good lock (you'll have to bed them in)

what he ^ said, I, use a ceramic xc one on the front and had a ex721 on the back, if they fit in your frame theyre perfect, light and super strong, you can always make pad spacers

Trikes suck, I sometimes try to cruise round on them at work, but: you cant lean when you go round corners which feels real wierd, try steering your bike by just turning bars and not leaning, most roads are off camber so your constantly leaning to one side. I'm scared to get them out of first gear.
If after all this you still want one the ones we make have one driven rear wheel with a free one opposite it. The axle would be hard to make so get a pashley axle off them as a spare

techically you are correct, i'm just generalizing it as that is its alternative in a hydraulic.
As for the spring if i remember correctly there is just a leaf spring that sits in between the pads, slot the pads into the spring then slide them in the caliper. alternativly I may have got the leaf spring idea mixed up with hopes

thats the piston. if its not bent it should just press back in, it may be tight due to the o ring, try lining it up, putting the disk in and pulling the lever

being new school geometry compared to the pashley it will feel wierd, worse for street stuff like spins but better
for pure trials, you'll get used to it although the pashley is clearly better

It happens to alot of hubs that are machined from blocks of alu because alu has a grain bit like wood and companies dont bother cutting with the grain etc causing stuff like this. Hope should sort it as they're good for warrenty stuff

stainless steel dont rust if its proper stuff

Use B&Q paint stripper, same stuff but cheaper, dont worry too much bout gettin it on you, i found it just itches abit

Carefully file or grind 2mm off each side of the axle where it sits in the dropouts, leaving 4 little pits in the axle, this way you dont have to mess about with new bolts + cutting a thread.

I think really you just have to keep at it, practise does make perfect, your balence will get better, try watching videos of better riders doing, using pedal kicks will help though
