think so, yes it buzzes very loudly when ignition is turned on, i confirmed this on three 318is (m44) now to check mine isnt at fault.
and yeah prawn its a 300mm Sparco Faster wheel. i had a 320mm omp replica but it had too much dish on it and i felt like i was driving like a Trex.

icanhazsteeringwheel?

Enough about how it drives, what diameter are the wrist pins?! Actually, what the f**k is a wrist pin? Surely y'all mean gudgeon pin?
this.

Kinda like them but i need some hubcentric spacers and extended studs because these are scary.
A good 40mm drop. at least is needed too make them look right i think/
Also note they look much better now the suspension has leveled.
just put the gti wheels back on. those fake reverse mounted split things look awful!

lol ye fair play prawn. next.

Well go and find me a set then Bucky? I am all up for being wrong and learning stuff but so far nobody has actually shown me anything otherwise.
f**k me straight on the defensive. fanny. (dam you autocorrect, well all know i put a word that sounds like kunt)
and your post dosnt make sense. find you a set of what? rc090s or rc041/042?

look on them, im not finding you a set of wheels go find your own, cos the ones you have bought suck.

im biased towards the army, in particular Royal Engineers, but its up to you.
also dont forget royal marines, everyone thinks army, navy and raf but forgets the puddle pirates are seperate

cool
seems like a lot of uni grads are joining up, the pay is shit to start with but tips over 30k within a couple of years of training.

Not £800 worth of wheels but still nice. I sold my fully refurbed (by me) RC041s with near new tyres for £120 a couple of months ago, just because they were taking up space. Got my M3 wheels on with brand new Falken 452's though (cost me £100 for wheels and tyres) so all is good.
nowhere near £800. if you can find a set of rc041s with tyres for that price Jardo id probably think it was you selling them.
Shut up Jason, you are talking about something you know very little about and being slanderous. "Jardo prices" are always spot on, one thing I am never wrong on is the price of things. Don't make me out to be a muppet(doing a good job of that yourself here) when you have nothing to base it on.
These wheels are worth a modest fortune. They aren't the standard "style 5" BBS that came on most, they are a very expensive factory order. A set of nonstaggered RC041's with scrap/no tires needing a refurb should sell for £350+ on ebay.
lol at the 'standard style 5' comment. rc041s came on some e36 with a reallllly shit ofset of et41. I'm pretty sure you are confusing your numbers here.
The wheels you are confused with are rc090, they are worth £800 in poor condition, i've seen some go for £1500 refurbed with tyres.
they were the staggered usually 8j/9j and came on e31,e32,e34,e38(18inch only) and e39.
im not going to comment similar to you in a 'come at me bro' fashion. but if you are going to do that in future, do your research and think before you type.
on another note my car is taking a step backwards, i have decided that the interior will need more work, and the boot requires some sort of build.
-
18" Schnitzer type 2's? Are they 9.5J spaced 15mm on the rear?
I was lead to believe from the brochures I have bought that the M-Tec kit was never offered on the IS Coupe and that they were all aftermarket. Does look great though!
What have you done with your interior? Leather?
17'' type2 10j and 8j. no spacers
grey Vaders with matching gaitors and arm rest

Jacked the car up this morning to sort out my undertray and surprised to see both wheels came up. Guess the car is quite stiff after all.
Look at my 2 lovely dints, still annoyed about them (women drivers eh ) but hey ho they're getting sorted out next month.
oh for gods sake, what have you broken now? ha im home all week if you need me.
I always thought the 318IS had M3 bumpers and skirts all round, but yours doesn't
that's a shame, aside from that, it looks nice.
i thought that too, but a friend of mine has also bought a 318is without the M kit on. Seems mine is an 'Mtech' on the logbook so i got the kit(everything apart from the front splitter)
well we might aswell see if we can get more BMW photos on one page:
this weekend i - fitted and set front camber adj top mounts, removed helper springs, made and fitted rear bump stops, fitted boot popper kit, fitted rear bench, fitted laminX headlamp covers(indicator covers ordered) fitted Spacro Faster steering wheel, fitted fancy cupholders, stripped boot out ready for build and moved the side lights from the main lamp into the corners.

Bucky, advise me? Cheapest ebay coilovers I can get, a set of wheels and strip the hell out of it?
weld the diff. ten get some tk technix coils (search ebay theres plenty) and rip literally as much of the interior out as you can do.
i took everything from the b pillar back out for a drift day on NYE at Teesside and it seemed to work quite well
dont bother with 18s, they suck. 17s with low profile and mega PSi will see you sideways into a ditch/tree in no time at all

Know anybody with any BMW wheels?
im selling my e46 style 32 18s with 4 Nankang NS2 tyres fitted less than 1000miles ago.
£300 + postage.
but you dont want 18s cos theyre shit.
so try trampdrift forums. Jeek (the legend) is always breaking e36/e30 high spec stuff with decent wheels at tramp prices.
on a side note my car is built back up apart from a door handle thats been lost. pics on FB but i cant get photobucket to upload them with my crap Jordanian dongle.
-
same as my e36. you'd be surprised by how nippy they are for their size excellent choice esspecilly for that price.

thanks mate looking forward to seeing yours too, its looking very mean and purposeful.

Love it Bucky. You're certainly getting a lot done while you're away aren't you!
Your Mrs was probably happy to get those bits out of the house too....
well 8 weeks away playing action man and getting paid an extra £10/day with nothing to spend it on has its perks

SUPER BUMP ALERT
Just joined my local gym, with the main goal to get rid of my jelly belly. I'm 6ft 2 and weigh 13 1/2 stone. So a little jiggly.
What's the best way to burn fat, and lose excess weight? is it best to avoid sugar as much as possible I guess, but how much of a hinderance will sticking to my normal diet be? normal cereal with sugar and ham sandwiches for lunch and normally fried chips and bacon for din dins.
Think once I'm in better shape it'll be a case of 3 days of cardio and 2 days of muscle building.
Any further advice would be great.
run. go out running and when u get tired do press ups, sit ups, dips, heaves, squats, plank etc. much chepe/easier than going to a gym.
im 6ft1 and 13 n half stone with a bmi of 23 and no flab or jiggly bits.

What colour is that?
its atlantis blue from the e9x 3 series
only other UK e36 i have seen this colour was on bimmerforums and the user hasnt posted since 2008 so seems quite rare.

doors and bumper painted:
roof painted, the wheels and bump strips are going same colour.

Is Morton doing it for you lad? And you're happy to trust him with this?! He'll probably spray a cock onto your bonnet for shits and giggles.
Morton has done all the prep work (new rear arches, spoiler removed, new front bumper etc) and Andy is doing the painting. te colour dosnt look right but iv only seen mobilephone pics so far.
