the chain is rubbish for trials after a mouth of riding it, it will snap on you and then just keep snapping so i wouldn't go there to be honest if anything get a half link conspiracy chain. no that wouldn't work.

Right i used to use rim jam v3 pads, they where rubbish they didn't hold and they snapped the nipple of the caliper that holds the pads on, so i had to get a new one and re-bleed it. I also believe they snapped my brake mount on my old bt raven 6.0 . I am now using heatsink blue berry pads and i think there amazing !!!! I bleed my brake with DE-ionized water nice and light and a quick reaction. magura hs33 silver With a echo control booster and ti bolts. And a try-all rim 26", running on a smooth rim. I used to grind my rim but i found that the try-all rims start to turn like cheese if grinded a couple of times. Alex mac

my mate bought some heat sink pads some time ago now and they haven't worn away one bit I'm not joking and its on a harsh grind and his brake is great i think i would get those but i don't run a grind anymore because i have try-all rims and they don't last very long with a grind i have rim jams at the moment and i had them on a grind a couple weeks back and they were good just a bit heavy but now i have a new rim with out a grind and they still work pretty well. hope i was help full

Hi. just wondered if there is anyone that has tried the bars or has got a pair so i can see what you think of them. what is there weakness and there strengths, what do you like about them, and things you hate. The reason for this is because i should be getting a pair next week sometime. I have also had a go on a leeson with some on and i liked them but i rode the bike for like 2 minuets lol cheers

you will need a hope spacer kit £10 a sprocket e.g surly £20, chain whip £5 and a cassette lock ring tool £5 all on www.tartybikes.co.uk hope that was a help

howdy. just wondering what you all think of the hight of your bike on the front because i like high front ends. i have a try-all stem 145mm by 25 degree and echo tough bars on a bt raven 7.0 and I'm thinking of getting some nice high rise bars like zoo or bt just because i think the higher it is the better it will be to tap and stuff. got any advise? cheers what do you think?

if you want that kinda type i have the gusset that onza copied lol its nice or get a dmr i have one of those to and there nice.

load of crap the hope mono trials brakes are really good no problem cant fault them but the seals will go eventually but its not hard to change them

learn to run smoother lol get a try-all tier or a maxxis havensure. you can slit an old inner tube and layer it in there but it will add a bit of wait.

changing your spokes would make a tiny difference not much you could always look at getting titanium bolt and things like that just have a look on tartybikes they have lots of light wait stuff

as long as it is set up properly then all it needs is to be bedded in just Cain down a hill and put it on

i have rim jam v3 and there not amazing but there far from bad but i think i might back to echo or zoo.

depends how bad they are mate if there not to bad go for it because in the end your properly going to scratch them up a bit other wise couldn't you swap them for another pair ?

use deionized water its amazing gives the brake a really quick reaction use it and your see what i mean if you bleed it right lol

i have one i really like it really really light strong as hell and yea for some reason it does enhance the brake performance get one you cant go wrong

yea go fore it mate grind it always good just don't do it to many times because apparently it weakens your rim after a certain amount of grinds and then buy some really good pads.. i have rim jam v3 at the moment but there are not the best pads to get go for koxx
