  1. it's a quality tune. I wish i knew too. At the start i think it says 'DJ element' and 'DJ alcohol', or something along those lines. maybe a clue to who remixed it? let me know if anyone manages to find it :S . cheers, george
  2. Hey, I am interested to know what bar height everybody has (mainly stock riders). So it would be awesome if everyone could MEASURE (no guessing) their bar height in inches, from the floor to the end of the bar. Also if you could say what bike you have, as I want to know about the way in which peoples bar heights are effected by bb height etc. cheers, george
  3. genious, i have some of those, quality. Thanks guys.
  4. cool, i figured might need a spacer, but am not really sure what to use? Not sure i really have anything. How thin does it need to be because i don't want the freewheel to be held on by not enough threads? thanks for your help guys, george
  5. hey Basically, i am a noob when it comes to this ffw malarky, but having just tried to put a new acs freewheel onto my uci tensile cranks (with uci bash), i have found that my freewheel screws all the way up to the bash and stops the freewheel from freewheeling B) . I must of either bought incompatible parts or am missing something i need to do that is vital? any ideas whats wrong? cheers, george
  6. Here's my revell, wanted to try one so i got the frame off doney a while ago, i find it a bit short for me though. george
  7. hey, Guitar is great. I have been playing for seven years (since i was 9) and i really enjoy it. When i first started i was quite young and so had to really push myself to practice, but now i really enjoy it. As for is it hard; i'd say it depends what level you want to get to. As with almost all things, there is some easy and some hard stuff. I still find things tricky even though i am reasonably experienced. Some of the van halen/ steve vai/ joe satriani songs take a lot of practice. The good thing about guitar though is if you keep working at a song you can normally get it in the end, even if at first you don't expect you'll be able to. I have grade 5 music theory standard which i find definitly helps, more with making stuff up then playing other peoples stuff though. I just did my music gcse and found it very useful, however i don't think you really need theory knowledge if you just wanna be able to play stuff for fun at uni :- . The best way to learn is to get lessons by a good teacher (if you can afford it), if not maybe get a friend to help give you the basics or just use the internet. I used to pay for lessons for a long time, but these days i just go *** with my guitar teacher every week. We are good mates so it's fun and at the same time i am still picking up tips etc. Definitly give it a go, I have never had acoustic guitar (although i do do some of the finger picking acoustic stuff on my electric. Definitly give it a go, if you have the drive to do it, then you should enjoy it and learn very quickly. George
  8. just wanna say, i think you should all stop weighing yourselfs and saying this proves how thin i am etc (well you arent literally, but implying - that 'you' is collective). Muscle is heavier then fat so how much you weigh doesnt show that your a porker, or not.
  9. For english: I did the describe a nightmare world. it was awesome, i enjoyed actually doing the exam :'( . My nightmare world was something to do with an awful caravan site and everyone in it having hayfever. Was quite weird but came out really well i thought  . I had maths today, thought it was ok but definitly harder then the first one. I almost always find calculator papers harder. george
  10. Yeah, thats cool, Daz's bike is pretty nice. Didnt realise he's broken his shoulder blade, i was riding with him in that demo and he fell off, we could see he was in pain but he just sat in chris' van for the rest of the demo.We thought it was just a muscle strain or something. The warehouse is awesome, if you ride it often though it does get a bit samey so we swap all the stuff around once in a while. Have you been before? There's loads of great stuff, like all the bikeshow logs/ spools/ concrete pipes etc. It's pretty cool and we have a laugh. Let me know when you are gonna come down (N) . George
  11. Hey, i live close to chris and his training warehouse so i ride with Chris and Daz alot. I am pretty sure chris and rob were telling me that the longer frame is a one off for chris to use at the worlds. There may have been more progress on that now, so they may end up developing it. My revell is just a bit short for me i feel as i am 6 ft and chris D is a short arse. It does sit nicely on the backwheel surprisingly for a bike with long 'stays and its really nice to gap  . My frame is one chris used for a little bit it has canti bosses specially put on and they are still going strong, it does have a small crack under the headtube that rob doney said he would get welded for me. So, if you fancy a revell but dont want to shell out for one i'll sell it to you for cheap? George Here's a pic of mine:
  12. Pretty chuffed about my biology today, everything that came up i seemed to know, there was even just general knowledge stuff in there (like about the MMR vacination). I think it went well. Most of the exams so far have been pretty good actually. I think spanish reading/ writing has been the hardest for me. R.E was deffo the easiest, which was cool. Dead long though. R.E is great 'cos u can just say what you think/ know a couple of word deffinitions and get all the marks (Y) . George. (yeah i have individual science (triple higher), as in a seperate grade for each one)
  13. New american Classic - Taking back sunday. It is a simple but rather awesome acoustic song. george
  14. Dr Evil, those first 4 are immense. How did you do them? Loads of good stuff in here. George
  15. Captain Scarlet appeared at the doorway and said...
  16. I'll be there, missed the last two rounds, so this is my 3rd comp; gonna be riding inter. I'll be on a black revell with a gold front rim and a black back one with a rather large dent in it >_<" Can someone tell me what to expect from this venue? See you there, George
  17. Lovin' the yellow. Please don't strip it. It's is so normal to have plain frames. The yellow jazzes it up no end. :) George
  18. looks nice. Really like the dropouts. Have echo changed their fixed rear hub so it has wider spaced and smaller flanges (liek a try all), if so when is this out. Cheers, George (Loving the name. Anyone who hasn't had a Gu chocolate desert should have one, they are luuush).

Nice site! Was talkin to Chris a couple weeks back about the online shop. Glad to see its happening and looks like it's coming on nicely (Y) . george
  20. I think none of us are doctors. So we can't properly diagnose. However if something is 'hurting like f**k' then you should probably see a doc about it. However from your description, my mum (who is a doctor) says that it is likely to be a burst blood vessel. Having said that she can't be sure as you have only given a descripton and she can't examine it. I suggest see a doctor if its as bad as you say :shifty: . Hope i was of some help, george
  21. Keep the Tories out! :- unfortunatly i can't vote (16). But if i could i would vote lib dem near me and labour for the general. Labour have no chance near me and lib dems have no chance overall. As long as the tories aren't in power i'll be ok. George
  22. The technique works surprisingly well and really throws you forward as well as up onto the object. You have your front brake on as your setting up but when you're preloading (just before exploading upwards) you release both brakes . If you get the timing right it makes for a much better wheelswap (well for me anyway) and there are no problems with not having an 'anchor'. I have used it many a time whilst riding natural. try it :) . george
  23. Dont worry about it sam, it'll be fine. My koxx rim is still ok from that isle of wight ride :) . George
  24. Yeah Chris taught me how to wheelswap a while ago, I couldn't get it and found my front wheel was coming down too fast. It all changed though when Chris suggested i preload and then release BOTH brakes. It worked almost instantly and i can do them quite well now. Try it! Hope this helps, George
  25. loving Ali C's pics. Looks a very similar place to this: I just really like the sky and the angle it looks cool, even though it was taken a fair while ago (last summer). It's still one of my fav's, my face is pretty amusing too. Here's probably my other favourite pic, it is just at a local practice wall but it was dark and i was relying on the flash to enable me to see the wall. What i like about the pic is the way that i and the part of the wall i am sidehopping up are illuminated; yet around it everything fades to black. Really cool pic and captured at the perfect time that i am crouching (Y) . Credit to 'T-Limburn' for taking the photo. cheers, george
