I loved every minute of that!

Great riding, but wasn't a fan of the editing or the music.
-
cant you just ask the seller?
I'm getting 32.
-
Are you serious, can't you count the number of spokes/spoke holes?

Used it for 6 months with an aluminium axle and it was faultless, just thought I would step it up a bit and put some carbon in there
Went out for a ride tonight, wasn't exactly gentle on it and it seems good so far....just have to wait and see, altho I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work
Cheers!
What weight was the alloy model? Think you could do it for a rear screw on hub(as an alloy axle version)?
Sounds like a promising ideal, hopefully see you on dragons den soon, getting some money behind you to get them in production Would mind getting one for the front of my road bike...

I'm assuming that's aimed at what I said about Stan's frame?

Its going to bend on the downtube.
It doesn't have a downtube...
Has it been ridden yet? If so, is it holding up strong so far...I know it's probably a little early to ask that, but I'm interested to know!

Yeah unless someone got a pic on the roadtrip there won't be any I'm afraid - basically the bottom of the dropout folded itself up to the extent that it required bending back to get an allen key into the bolt head, let alone remove the bolt...
Have these frames been released, or are they still in the testing stage? As I havn't seen them for sale anywhere?

They're gonna get crushed the first time you land something wrong. Just look at Rainbird's S-24, or anyone who's run a Leeson without (Fatpants...)
Any pictures?

Find out what Ryan Leech / Thomas Ohler are running
Leech, 100mm Reba's Reduced
Ohler, Custom SR Suntours
-
If you you remember back to when Ashton collaborated with Orange he rode a suspension fork on his License 24'' bike. What he had done is, got a 100mm Reba fork and got TF tuning to put in a rubber washer in to stiffen the compression up(I think they may have modified the dampner slightly to). This is pretty much the same thing Ryan Leech gets done to his forks, expect from what I can gather Leech uses a dual air Fork to get more adjustment, and to save on weight.

What a beast, that was epic! I see he is still riding his Monty, but does he now ride for GT?

Entry form below. Hope to see all the riders we have had during the year to make the last event this year a good one.
Thanks Captain!

Surely hammerschmidt is more than those cranks? What are sram doing making cranks anyway? Thats why they bought truvativ.
They same sram, and truvitvi branded on them. Sram are trying to make full group sets like what Shimano do, its a marketing thing, but they are still made by truvitvi.
Pretty sure I have seen roady wheels that sell for over £4500 EACH.
Yeah, American Classic and Fast Forward wheels do wheel set's up to 6000 bucks, it's mad!

haha, not me. I do a nosemanuel (with foot, whats that trick called?) Every now and then but not loads.
Are there any of these: http://www.xcracer.c...p?productid=131 without the TI nitrate finish? Heard it makes the brake slippy.

Over heating? In trial?
Yeah for all those G-turns and backwards fakie manuals
-
i was considering using a gusset rotor to start. How much are those alligator ones?
They start at around about 15bucks, and I would get a 180, just to prevent over heating. Check out CRC or xcracer.co.uk
-
Fair enough, i'll probably start with 160 then if i need more power move up to 180mm. Because i'll be using an adapter i'm not sure if i'll be able to use 160 though.
Just curious.. is this the alligator rotor?
Yip they are silly light and silly cheap, and work.
-
Ah awesome, what rotor size do you use?
180 Alligator rotors.
-
Joe, any news on a new Limey(stock)?
-
They brake's are awesome, got a pair on my 29er, and I can't fault them(been tempted to by one for my trials bike). A lot of people bitch about the bleeding process, but in all honesty as long as you use an avid bleed kit with them, you'll have no issues bleeding them.
FYI Danny Mac used to use these, and he loved them.

Hi Guys,
Bob Macgregor it is then. (will try to get another couple of venues for next year, in talks with two at the moment) The venue has been booked today and I will get entry forms up tonight. I will ease up on Novice and inter sections this time and I have an idea for a good few new sections so they are not repeated. Championship trophies will be awarded after the event. Two classes have been won and two have still to be decided. I would like entries in before the event please as makes the morning a bit less hectic. As usual I will be there from Saturday mid morning to set up and stay over. All welcome?
Kevin
Johnathon will be there! Drop me an email with entry forms, please!

Enjoyed that, was a nice fun wee edit, but next time, get your 'idiot' friends to stay out the way! haha!

Nope only British at Bracken rocks which we are going to. 9th is the last and only one left. Too much info on the abduction, but bet your still smiling.
When is Bracken Rock? Might be keen for that!
-
So the report alien abduction is over. Where you been? The 9th October will be the last round this year.
Yeah it's over, they left my arse like a yawning hippo's mouth!
I'm living in the borders now, but kept quite, a few things to deal with!
The 9th I have a race that date...I think! Any comps this month?
