  1. Echo TR Platform 2011

I was looking at pedals to buy before I seen your post and I went back to the pedals and I then seen they match your preferences pretty well, I will hopefully be buying them when I get the money, so I am basically recommending them to you.

    hope this helps.

I have looked at them but they are not completly fat, they have a ridge/hump that doesn't allow your foot to sit flat on the pedal.

  2. Hello, looking to try a new set of pedals, I hate V8's as they are to small and hurt the centre of my foot, but I currently use them as they are the only pedal that is completly flat, and doesn't have a ridge\hump in the centre of the pedal(where the axle is). I used to use the Kona Jacksh*t pedals, which are also the Inspired pedals, but they were not that grippy, but wide, and comfie. And I'm know looking for a pedal thats wide, removable pins, no ridge and has a reasonable slim profile. Also just curious to see what other riders use.

    Anyone help?

    Johny

  3. What do you think needs to change in the street trials community?

I don't think anything really needs to change in street trials, I just think people shouldn't spend too much time looking and chatting online about what other people are doing and just go out and work on creative riding ideas of their own.

    Haha, He just 'dist' us...

  4. Isn't the zoot geo based on the old ET geo?

I think the difference with the foreplay is that it has a lot more testing behind it, and the frame (in my opinion) is lotbetter quality, for example there are a few nesh things built in to the foreplay, to give it extra stiffness and strength. I think the Zoot doesn't really have the same amount of thought behind it, I feel the Zoot was just a quick build, so Onza had a similar bike to the foreplay, to compete with and to fit in to the 24'' scene.

The bb yoke on the Zoot looks very similar to the one on the old Neon Bow, and they were stupidly weak, I cracked mine with in a few months, and I can see the Zoot snapping in the same place.

  5. theres probs 4 or 5 of us who live in, and regularly ride in edinburgh...

theres plenty of places to stay...if youre looking at hostels just google it and find one that likes bikes :)

    main spots:-

bristo square (as mentioned)...bit of an iconic alternative skate/bmx scene area

george square...just down from bristo square towards the uni

outside the parliment...lots of great stuff to ride, ideally need a weekend so security isnt there

    st giles...its a nice little wall/steped area

the art gallery on the mound (aka the cake)...youve seen it in the danny vid of course

sheraton...nice flat area with things to play on around the sides

the vid i made a while back has alot of these spots within it, and should be easy enough to recognise, have a nose:

    And Portabello...and a few others...

    When you guys coming down?

    Also I live in Edinburgh!

  6. I really enjoyed that, one of the best video's I have seen in a wee while!

I have been toying with the idea of getting one of these since I first saw it, and that video just makes me more eager to get one!

  7. I'd like to be there if you ever meet Benito Ros/Diego Barrio/other big mod competition rider.

It'd be nice to know if you'd slate them for riding "pogo sticks", or if you just get your kicks from tormenting teenagers on the internet.

Sorry I wasn't aware I 'slated' anyone, I was simply making a cheeky comment about the bb height. I'm sorry for upsetting you!

How did Benito get involved in this conversation?
