  1. awesome video, soundtrack was good. pallet sessions are great fun! Dave!
  2. i agree with Phil although i do love the shine of a new bike, but have to say also would look much nicer with my control frame haha Dave! p.s any admin I'm not trying to sell in this thread please don't hurt me!!!
  3. (prob goes better with more 'Hard Core/Superior' sports, like Bmx & motocross freestyle etc.) i personally think it went pretty well with the vid. but what are you talking about superior sports, you call yourself a trials rider show some respect!!!!
  4. well OK Phil i just didn't appreciate you're negativity and also your use of the word (we) we may ride together but we aren't attached at the hip?? cheers Dave!
  5. Thanks to everyone for there help apart from Phil Hartley. because his post was a complete waist of my time. if i don't try new things how will i ever improve???? i am getting a 20" within the next week and will start to learn on that because i wont have to find as-big walls to practice on and hopefully that way i wont break any bones before my exams. thanks again to everyone cheers Dave!
  6. well basically i have seen loads of good riders doing this and want to learn: first question how high should the wall be to start practicing on? secondly what technique do you use do you have to bounce the front wheel on the wall for more uplift? any ideas, cheers Dave!
  7. eeerrmm I'm coming with the lads from fleet and maybe farnborough, but i have never been Southampton in my life wheres the spar??? cheers Dave!
  8. Hi, i was just wondering if there are any rides this weekend....? Thanks
  9. yes, it is definately all about personal preference and i prefer a higher front end. but this comes as a suprise to me that urbans are some of the longest forks out there because compared to my unbranded forks that i ride at moment they have about a 2" drop?? i dont know whether you mean trials specific forks but in general there are much taller forks out there such as identiti rebates or dmr trail blades. but thanks for your help it has changed my mind i will ride my mates bike he has the same one, and get a feel for different stems. thanks dave!
  10. you this options sounds best, but I'm gonna go with the tryall stem instead because it match's my booster?. bit lame i know but i like abit of co-ordination on my bike so an echo stem would look right out of place. thanks for the help, cheers Dave.
  11. thanks, but wouldn't it make the bike harder to ride being lower, especially with my echo urbans?? which already drop the front of the bike a fair amount.
  12. i ride an onza t-rex and have a set of onza carbon fibre over sized handlebars, i am just over 6 foot tall and i would like to know what people of the same height or who ride the same bike, which stem they would recommend? if you have any options for me could you either state there full name or add a link to a website where i can buy it.
  13. right!, cheers thanks for the advise what would i do without all these wonderful peeps on trials forum!
  14. Here is the link to a disk rotor i need to know whether it will work with my Magura Marta? here: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=7631 if not anyone know one that will?, cheers!

  18. Well i would sagest a hayes mx2 mechanical disc 160mm rotor, i have been running my hayes for three years on and off on three different bikes, and have not yet changed the pads. And to cap it all of they are very cheap. heres a link depending on what size disc you want: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=6142 (big rotor) http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=6144 (small rotor)

  20. all is not lost the train repair things finish at 9.30 or there abouts so no changes to the plans the ride is on. But i got a scary message from chris saying his downtube snapped in half and haven't heard from him since so there may be a problem there we will see tomorrow if any one needs to phone me tomorrow my number is 07790424050 but were meeting chris and co outside the station and skuzzbucket outside the bike shop like two minutes later. can everyone confirm this with message a like A.S.A.P! cheers!!!
  21. fuzigish - monique, its the greatest song for getting you pumped to ride EVER!!!!
  22. they are total dicks they always stop me when i'm riding. But now i just say '' ok i'm sorry it wont happen again '' ride round the corner and come back when they go. So much easier than arguing with them.
