  5. Hi its Rick I just wondered if there are any common problems with trials parts. eg; headsets coming loose I have come across the problems with front freewheels coming loose and coming off, this could have been easly avoided by keeping it niped up with a allen key. Ect and the problems with TPA's crossthreading due to pressure. I think it would be a good idea to post this topic because the replys could save everybody a lot of money that could be spent elsewhere. If you have had any bike problems please post here. Thanks Rick
  6. Hi its rick If your front disk is bent there is three options. 1) try and bent the disk back to shape and hope your pads wear into it. 2) Find out weather or not ur disk has heat memory, if it dose stick it in oven and it will go back to shape. 3) £££ get a new disk £££ PS:I have done number two and it works rather well but its a bugger to find out weather your disk is heat memory. Hope i have helped. Rick.

Firstly please post what has really wound you up in the last week or so. And like it says in members chat if you must reply...please dont laugh at anyone or anything give them words of comfort or wisdom. Well i'll get us started then my freewheel broke today £20 to repair and not a favorite job for bike mechanichs ither i have to get it welded and my dad is on at me for "breaking my bike " so i am not half pleased pic of what sorry i cant post pics because it wont let me so heres the link http://pic7.piczo.com/trialsbiking24seven/?g=27120170 PPS: check out my site and maybe sign it thanks everyone rick
  8. Hi its rick. I think i might be able to help. My friend phil monks says you can get rim tar of e-bay. If you have a account and they even label it as trials tar so that is quite conveniant. It is quite cheap at around £2 to £3. The other cheaper option is to get it off the roads when the council are tarring a road neer you. Just ask for a bit it should last ages. I have had a peice about as big as a fifty pence peice for about a month now and it hasen't worn down yet. I use it quite often if you have a rim grind it should work even better. PS: A rim grind will wear tar down a little more quikly than without a grind. Hope ive helped. Rick.
  9. Hi it's Rick Thanks for the replys keep em comin and as for the tubes come dosen't matter about that it was a bit random. Mayswell have asked about wat rim tape lol. anyways thanks people keep em "rollin" thanks again Rick

  11. i dissagree i think the t-comp is bloody brilliant for street the u6 tubing makes the frame sooooo rigid it is really good for everything i ride the t-comp regularly and it rocks thanks for listening rick
  12. Hi there i have a onza t-comp and used to have a t-pro. The difference is the breaks from a normal v-break on the t-pro to a hs-33 on the t-comp. The t-comp also has drilled wheels and bling blue rim tape. It shows through the wheels. I think the onza t-comp would be the best bike to go for if you were buying it. Hope ive helped. rick.
  13. Hi I just wonderd what free hub you would recomend. I have been on tarty and most of the prices are stupidly expencive. I have a buget of around 100 because i am building a new pyhton at the moment. Any help would be appreciated. thanks rick. PS:like it says in the title its a 20 PPS:i can only have a free hub as i have already bought the crank.
  14. well im planning my newest build a zoo python got frame crank n heatset for 220 and will cost about 650 to get running fully but im buildin it over a period of time thanks rick
  15. i won't touch mission stuff with a barge pole even though i started out on one it is in my opinion cheep and tatty who agrees with me thanks rik
  16. Hi im 14 years young. About 5 foot 10 ish and i ride a onza t-comp witch is purrrrr fect for me i think. Rick.
  17. I think that tarty bikes do some headsets for under £30 but im not sure they do anodised. You could wait and see if they put some on sale. I think if you raise your buget a little you could get ither echo or zoo. Hope ive helped and happy trials. rick.
  18. to do a wheel swap go into a stoppie when you are quite high release your front brake as soon as your back wheel hits the floor and your front end starts to rise lock on your back break quite simple once uve got the basics thanks rick

  22. hi everyone I am buying a python frame and i need a pair of wheels i have a buget of around £70 per wheel but can go a little higher. What would you recomend to buy i can order from tarty bikes and chain reaction cycles any help would be appreciated. thanks rick PS: Not including rim tape tubes and tyers.
  23. I would get a onza t-comp or t-pro. Thease come with magura adaptors. U6 aliminum butted frame brilliant starter bike. thanks rick
  24. Well firstly it will were down your pads faster than usual. It will wear down softer compound pads faster most of the time. I dont use tar on a rim grind i used to have one on my old bike and i went through a pair of hs-33 pads in 4 months. On the other hand you will see the benifits streight away if you do decide to grind them. PS: don't go mad on your wheel if you do. happy trials. rick
  25. hi all i just wonderd what shops dose every one order from and what is the longest time you have had to wait for a part because i know some bike shops are pathetic ps: the longest i have waited is two weeks after the order for a onza t-comp thanks rick
