Let me know when your next out in southport Mark.
I'l head down and meet you there.
-
Was a good day,
I've just realised we've only really got pictures of gaps .
Next time we'l have to get some more varied pics with some sidehops and other stuff.
-
Yeah was a good ride. Only me and two others but was a good day.
When are you next out Billy?
-
Is it still 10:30 outside the station?
-
I'm still up for it.
-
Whats the geo on the frame?
I've just gone from a 100 x 5deg to 115 x 10deg on a short adamant A1 07 that has 15mm bb rise and it's made a massive difference. Felt better straight away

So thats how the tsunami started!!
-
I'm not too sure if wills coming, Hopefully he will but he usually spends saturdays with his girlfriend.
I'l ask him today
-
i run one and as long as it works i wont get rid and when it does die ill just buy another one
any more need to be said
sean
Sean's disk realy does work well. It's the best front brake I've rode, it's silent too.
-
I'm on it.
-
where did you get it from? Any idea on the weight?
-
Nice bike there Mark. Wish I had one .
What are you getting next?
-
I might be up for this.
Is the new bike built up yet Duggy?
How does it compare to the retro Kona?
-
It is simpler doing it that way but I dont think there will be much problem with Ti - it doesnt exactly break too easily and theres a good deal of adjustment built in so if you do bash it, just swing it back. I like that Ti one but it would be much neater if you could tension up instead of down.
I would tension it up instead of down if I could but the chain would catch the chainstay and theres not enough slack to take a link out yet. I'l see how it goes when I alter my gearing.
Your right about the Ti not breaking. It's seriously tough stuff. I could have made it out of thicker gauge but I really didnt need to.

Thanks guys, problem solved. I ordered a set of rock blues from thetrialsinshop
I was going to say you can have mine but I'm too late. The rock pads dont seem to work anywhere near as good as my old koxx browns did. My brake seriously lacks bite with these pads.
With the browns I never had to worry about the brake slipping, and they lasted just short of 3 years.

Looks great Sean, rides good too. Take a grinder to that back wheel though. You know it makes sense!!
-
Was a great ride. Weather was amazing too.
If you werent there today you missed out!!!!
-
It's only free for the first hour I think
-
If the bike you have is what you've been riding up to now then I'd come along.
If your used to the bike then you'l not have a problem.
-
what time are you getting there for sean? Why are you getting there earlier?
-
It's not a car park but it's free and I've parked there for years.
-
I'l speak to Jim about the parts/money he owes you lot next time I see him. He lives round the corner from me.
I doubt you'l have much success phoning him.
-
