  1. Well all depends on what you want to be doing mate Personaly i prefer a stock (26" bike) Because i have grown up getting used to them But i also know loads of people who ride mod (20" bike) and they find it easy to do all sorts of things I think its easier to get more height with a bigger bike i.e the 26" frame Also the the person before this post saying about an onza T-rex for £500 is a bit exphensive There is a bike shop near me that sells them for £340 Absolute bargain And im not one to object but personaly i wouldnt get an onza Because if your happy with spending £700 pounds in the first place you might as well buy a decent bike in the first place Will save you money if u buy decent bike in the first place in the long run {Spudrik}
  2. Echo 07 rims are like cheese from my experience Why not try a try-all rim? Or even a new BT They are £35 You can get them from tartybikes or probably find them cheaper on ebay or other websites Tarty bikes What ever one you end up getting out of the huge choices Let us know if it was a good buy and if you recomend the rim you got because im sure we would all like to know for when we get our next rim {Spudrik}
  3. They are the leading cranks for a reson. Read up about them. You obviously know what your talking about when you are talking about downhill etc.. But you said it annoys you when people dont take your advise who cares if people dont take your advise alot of people dont take mine but the idea is to give people advise so they have choices Its just helpful to them to give them more options So dont run down and slag everyone off on this forum cos we dont take YOUR advise Sort it out!! Edited by mod: I really can't see why you bothered to drag this thread up from yesterday. Did you bother to read everyones posts?
  4. I aggree with these people definatly get a hope hub I have built up a Hope bulb on a Ryno lyte rear rim with sapim spokes I have heard no complaints what so ever on hope hubs =D So I imagine very very very reliable {Spudrik}
  5. I have a Salt half link bmx chain on my bike. It has never let me down i.e never snapped or anything like that I totaly trust them You can easily get the chain from pretty much any bike shop And the best thing is they are only £13 Bargain {Spudrik}
  6. Oh my days It looks so so so much better Propor lush job there Did you do it or professional? Nice one {Spudrik}
  7. its all good just wanted to let you no because im sure you want to get validated Yer try-all BB's I have found to be extremely good =D A load of my mates have them and all think they are ace {Spudrik}
  8. 2 things 1 = I have a try-all isis BB and its amazing definatly worth £55 brand new 2= This topic has already been posted like 2 days ago Please search before you post Thanks {Spudrik}
  9. yep i agree i think you do need the tool so dont be a tight sod an go an get one they are only like £8 so its not exactly breaking the bank =/ {Spudrik}
  10. A few people I know have taken their split link out as they know alot of people who's chains have snapped because of it. I think it all depends how hard you ride You would probably be better off without it if you could spare some length of the chain going {Spudrik}
  11. Steerer Tube: 1-1/8" Threadless Steerer Tube Length: 260.0 mm Fork Rake: 45 mm Axle to Crown Length: 413 mm Crown Race: 30.0 Front Axle Type: 9x1 Wheel Size: 26" Brake Type: Linear Pull - Canti Front Hub Spacing: 100 mm Brake Usage F/R: Front Disc Mount Type: None Material: CrMo Color: Black Weight: 1,030.0 g Well Its extremely heavy which isnt a good start but it looks nice. If you want good forks that are lightweight and that are quite cheap Go to www.selectbikes.com Then go on there sale section They have a realy good deal on at the moment for some echo forks The website isnt loading up for me at the moment so i cant give you the spec for them but as far as i can remember they are £55 knocked down from £75 Have a look and let me know what you think {Spudrik}
  12. Nice colour sheme going on there matey! Its looking nice =D Any plans for it in the future? Spec wise? {Spudrik}
  13. nice one matey. il speak to you on there
  14. Thanks alot for the help =D What do you recon on getting one for the front and a maxiss high roller for the rear?
  15. Everyone will probably say to get a 74 kingz tensioner like they did on my topic a couple of days ago But I got a Mr control and its brilliant - works absolutly fine for me. I made my own mechhanger so I only had a few choices for ones that would fit So personaly i would go for the Mr control as its cheap and does the job Mr Control Have a look I got mine from ebay which was still brand new but I saved £3 =D {Spudrik}
