  1. Well isn't there a 30" version and a 28" version, now obviously the 28"s would be just right and the 30" just a tad too wide My mate runs the 28" onza carbon bars and feels just right.
  2. Will Smith - Getting jiggy with it The best song ever - once I heard it I just loved it!
  3. Ermmmm - use the Wiki?? http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/wiki/Bleeding_Hope_brakes
  4. does anyone want to sell any pads to me when were all at london as im using some angled plaz pads and they need a change. Was wondring if they could bring them along and i'll buy them there and then
  5. Or if you want platform pedals I would go for the DMR V8s as they are cheap and last for a good while they're around 20quid or you could get the wellgo v8 copies which are near enough the same but different pins and I think bearings and they go for about 11 quid off chain reaction.
  6. Wow this ride seems to be huge! Now Ive done my research and found that weathers good and the pollution is low Which is good as we don't have to ride with our hands over our mouths and noses! And simpson, i'm busting it up there with you, so talk to you on msn about the meet see you'll there
  7. Yep, I had exactly the same thing happen to me, took my cranks off to tighten the bb and gave my tensiles a quick clean and saw that there was a large crack in the drive side and a medium crack in the non drive side. I rode with them for a while until it got to the point where each time I rode the cracks got longer and wider. This as the time to change cranks as riding them just would be dangerous. These were the older modell of tensiles ( the optimum ones ) but still Ive had them for about 1 and half years now, maybe even 2 years and im resonably smooth but it seems the newer tensiles (urban legends) are more prone to cracking at a faster rate.
  8. Also I find that I get cramp when I'm hungry and so to avoid it all I do is bring enough food or enough money so I can stay 'filled up' for the whole day. Thats what stops my cramp anyway
  9. ermmm, excuse me Ben - now me and you know that thats a big fat lie sonny as it skips about 20 times a ride haha ..that is if you havn't bought a new one!
  10. Sell family members? or sell things you don't need on ebay etc, thats what I do if im in need of cash
  11. Thats a lush bike mate - just thought i'd mite tell you that your rotor is round the wrong way as well
  12. Bloody hell!! how many topics!! Joe - you know Reece Penfold blew his 06 pro2 up which is why he is now running the 07!
  13. Looks bad, but how may grinds has it had? Because obviously the sidewalls would be thinner and therefore weaker which would be more prone to folding or bending.
  14. How about the coust pads ? A few mates use them with their vee and magura brakes on the front and they are simply the sharpest and the best hold I've ever felt - so much better than my hope disk brake.
  15. Yeah im loving that. Always had a soft spot for echos, may have to purchase one when I eventually kill my black mumba. Its a great upgrade from your old zona
  16. Wow that is soo nice, I have a black mumba and thats the same frame as that - so now I know I have an 04 python copy. I just love how that bike is built, with the mix with green, black and white colours. keep that frame!!
  17. Hi mate and welcome to the forum, I would sugguest you get a short frame and im sure you will more comfortable, Try these websites and have a look for a bike www.tartybikes.co.uk www.selectbikes.co.uk www.trials-uk.co.uk www.trial-futur.net
  18. The best freewheel you can buy in your price range is probably the try-all or even maybe the tensile. I would go for the try-all as there is loads catchpoints which means better response from the cranks. If your going to buy one, try to find a newly used one - this will probably be in the 40quid range which is perfect for you. I bought one off here not long ago for around 40quid and since ive had it, hasn't skipped once and would definitly recommend. Unless you want a brand new freewheel, go for the tensile as theyre quite cheap, have a good amount of catchpoints : 60. However tensiles do skip sometimes but then again most freewheel will after a while. If you can get one, which you will be lucky to find one - try to buy an ENO , I no theyre like 80quid new, but I saw one on here go with a monty crank arm for 30 quid so you mite be lucky.
  19. Damn. I dont wear my lid all the time now as it messes up my hairdo - a bit vaine I know but now Ive seen that video, I think I'll wear my lid more often now as I wouldn't want a hole in my head
  20. Yeah - I had the older set but cracked them, but I was determined to still ride them but the cracks got bigger and was just too dangerous to ride. I eventually managed to snap the drive side while getting the freewheel off and to make matters worse, I couldn't take the pedals out as they were stuck in, We used long spanners to attempt to get them out but they stayed in and in the end, snapped a spanner. But I did run them for quite a long time as I bought them about a year and a half ago from Superstar on the forum so they served me well up unto this point.
  21. Yeah Nice pics, Shame half of them are of mahers arse, oh well - Shame I missed this ride, decided to ride southend instead
  22. Yeah, I mite have to bust it down with you Boswell is it will be my first London ride
  23. Also I would just like to say that you should keep with your rear hope as I've heard several reports of bb7s on the rear 'blowing up' .Also when used, over heating too quickly is an issue so I would say keep with the hopes and just give them a good setup and they should work lush.
  24. Look on www.trials-uk.co.uk and either email Dan Ko through the site or get his msn from the site as he'll be the one who will be able to get the stickers for you.
  25. Naa, you may be thinking of Benfleet, Essex where I don't think anything has happened with that so far as I know.
