  1. true, but the reason i have a 50 is cos i need it for college, work and i want to do my big bike test in march next year before it changes, so i will stand a chance of passing with the experience from a 50.
  2. yeah theyre good as long as you maintain it. What do you mean by arrow "front" pipe? just the expansion chamber bit? and what carb is it? Dellorto? and whats the mileage? errm should hit about 60, but theres probably something wrong with it for that price
  3. POLL TIME pete or no pete? let the forum decide i say!

  11. theres a reason for that lol
  12. yee, i thought it was sort of like nothing is expected to seriously break within a year, and if it is likely to break in a few months then it is advised? Oh well, im a tit lol
  13. haha. thought of something good to spend it on?
  14. not quite true, i know lots of people who have done both fine
  15. Meh think what you want to be honest. And just out of interest how badly were your (micheal singleton) tyres worn? And yeah i was wrong, but i still think that the copper has to be a right mug to do the car on the tyres. "the test certificate relates only to the condition of the testable items at the time of the test and should not be regarded as evidence of their condition at any other time; nor should it be accepted as evidence of the general mechanical condition of the vehicle."
  16. well i helped/did practically everything except the RBT which i was capable of if i really needed to. And if you had someone that could practically do your work for you, you would let them do it wouldnt you? and the bold bit is BS really, of course a garage with about 25 years of MOT experience with the 4 people that worked there would know whats what. And the 12 months bit is what i said, not the garage, but it wasnt really what i was trying to get across. Some components wear quickly, some dont. Even if you have an advisory on a part, its not going to be classified as an MOT faliure for a good while, otherwise it would be failed.
  17. i wasnt trying to be cocky, its just you assume that i have no clue without even knowing about my history on the subject. No offence, but i really hate that and it pisses me off to be honest.
