  2. OK well what about buying some second hand burns quite a lot of people are selling some on here.looky here
  3. What about tensile's?? optimum steel cranks look on tarty bikes i no you live in the usa but its just an idea of what cranks are around that are strong and affordable. TARTY
  4. Hi i don't ride stock but from what ive heard the 74 kings tensioner is suposed to be good have a look on tarty bikes they do a good selection. Have a look ,tarty
  5. Tar's crap get a light grind and some koxx pads i suggest reds,blues.browns.Tar is just oily in the wet all of the oil will come out of the tar and run all over your rim so your rim is black and full of sh**e.Get a grind and if you think your brake still isn't working use a small amount of tar don't just slap it on 'stroke' the tar lightly over the grind.
  6. It is the monty biketrial tyres that are 2.7 they make the bike feel like there is loads of drag on the back wheel.I'd try cleanbikes not so new section on their website, there isn't any second hand 219 maguras on there on the moment but they sell them brand new in a range of colours.Check it out cleanbikes
  7. R.I.P no only joking those brakes will be fair beast though.
  8. So its a v-brake?? I'd suggest purchasing some plazmatic crv's or spanish fly pads they would work nice on a light grind
  9. Use a small angle grinder not the big grinders that use cutting discs take your tyre off and brush the grinder over the rim lightly so you don't cut through it. What pads do you use?
  10. The rear disc will bite awesome ive just bought a bb7 for the front its a 185 mm rotor on a mod! I'm actually scared to use it incase i end up flying like superman over the bars.can't wait.

  19. so will turps not work then seen as though people have recommended other things. What temperature will a disk start to melt and warp at.
  20. Righteo everyone help is in need. I was bleeding my rear brake which is a magura and i think some blood got on the disk but im not sure because the disk is still biting but just making the funny noise that contaminated rotors do. I also got some blood on my rear rim and pads because im silly . I have just used turps on my rear pads and grind to sort the oil out and it has worked my brake is fine but my quiere is. Will the turps work on my rotor?? My disk pads are currently soaking in coke as i have heard it works well with all the carbon dioxide thats in the coke and it eats all the muck away. So will it work or just f***************k it up??? help! please
  21. Yeah! I'm generally nackered most days but I think it’s mostly down to School and work etc... True, Riding does tire you out especially after when you pushing yourself! I Usually find that it is down to what I eat/drink; For Instance if I set off early in morning to catch a Train and I don't have time for breakfast I generally find myself really 'worn out' at the end of the day. I know they say, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" I think it ACTUALLY is... Thanks
  22. oh yeh i agree with you there about street but ive got a yaerly membership and no point letting it go to waste.
  23. Are you guys not entering the trial on sunday as you only live in hebden bridge??
