  1. well its 6 quid for 250 ml which is quite a lot of fluid
  2. i dont know. meh kinda feel that the oil gives a more solid feel. well my maggie has a leak. so buying new lever. and just thinking of using some oil but then again. meh. just wondering what its like.
  3. hi all. iv recently been shying away from water and starting to use royal blood. just wondering if anyone has used the monty mineral oil. it says it's thinner so that it feels slightly nicer on the lever than the blood. just wondering if anyone has used it?? it seems good value as well. well let me know. cheers
  4. umm btw. try alls are only 31g lighter... not much in it. i have a try all ... used to have an echo. and the echo was sooo much better. really just because of its grind holding capabilities. it would hold for months. whereas try all looses it after a few weeks. oh and the new try all streets weigh 600g. thats 100 heavier than echos so not the lightest option. go echo
  5. its gay. i would but im waiting for some money to clear cos i need a new bb. oh and new lever.
  6. yer man we do occasionaly ride soton. have a look in the rides thread to see when theres one on.
  7. sik video. im actually going to try swap my mod for a stock now
  8. lol thats pc version of geometry wars. which is by the way the most addictive game i ever had on my xbox 360
  9. do you not come to any of the rides in pompey etc. soton?? a few of my mates live in that area. may be able to organise sumat.
  10. im not even going to watch the video before this reply..... there is no right track. everyone progresses at different rates. some people progress real fast. others progress slower.
  11. i did think about that but am unsure whether it would fit on a mod. like that whole bent bit at the end where the springs bolt to.
  12. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=31 there you go. £6 pounds........... use the washer thing for isis. use it without for square. and there you go.
  13. ooooo dude. let me know what happens cos im having the exact same problem with my profile. running pretty much the same to you as well. so maybe bb is the answer.
  14. ok. just to get this clear. youve just got bottom mounts . and leave off the washer for the maggie. whats that washer even for. surely if they work without it whats the point in it??? oh yer and i dont think this whole tensioner idea is working. its just pushing my wheel over so it rubs on other side. I guess im guna have to find some thinner matierial if this mount idea doesnt work. ALSO. when my good foot is forward chain tension is real slack. and when its back its real tight. it was like this with my freewheel set up too. i still get it with my profile. just as much too. any particular reason??? anything i can do??
  15. is it just me or does trials tube still not work??
  16. yer i was going to say. the one i made earlier the chain kept coming off the jockey wheel. iv got a spacer for a booster spare and i think that will work. if i put some washers each side to keep the chain in.
  17. i did pretty much the same thing but tensioned it down and used a jockey wheel. i think it works ok. but the wheel is off centre becuase iv put that in. dont think its a problem but just wondering if theres anything else i can do.
  18. ok i have a long 06 python. and i cant get the chain tension right. im using a rear try all rim. and if i pull the wheel back giving the correct tension the pads end up half on the braking surface and half on the off ( on the outside so it rubs on the tyre) i tryed running i chain tensioner for a while. tryed taking a link out. was waaay too short. i have noticed that echo rims have more braking surface. just wondering what other people do with their pythons. am thinking about half link chain as only option.
  19. nice vid. and no offence as i have never ridden one and dont no how hard it is. but i swear half the stuff all you did was almost sit down and let the bike take you. like riding up hills. meh. good vid anyhow.
  20. working sunday. riding sandbanks today though. reaaly want to ride pompey again. you still comin plymouth dave??
  21. ummm. when i got mine it didnt work properly at first.... i soon realized that it was because the pads werent hitting the disc square. so try readjusting them. just undo the two fine adjustment bolts and pull the lever then do them up......... i mean youve probably done that seeing as your mister my bike is perfect. lol. is really strange seeing you with a trouble thread. haha
  22. not sure if ill be coming now. after all that. havnt reeealy got the dosh. hmmmmmmmmmm. how good is this plymouth place????
