Im not sure but i think some of the specialized cross country bikes use a mechanisim somewhat like this, atleast it says in the brochure...

Ive been riding bikes for a while now and the skin on my hands has conisderably thickend to a point where its not nice to look at, i realise that anyone who doesnt wear gloves will get this to a certain degree. I hate wearing gloves and i just wanted to know if anyone has any advice on getting rid of this.

maybe the grind is too heavy?

dont do it!, i had a specialised hardrock and you would need close enough whole new parts. i used around £200 to get myself an onza t rex 26" second hand from ebay, barley used and it worked a treat.

generally me and my mates are not lazy at all, 8hr rides are no probs, however ciggarette breaks have lasted up to a day.

please can we stop the comments about the hair, frankly their a bit pointless. i know i didnt wear a helmet, but i do now and i know that was stupid as i mentioned so there is no reason to say that in every post. And the gold rims! why not? same price as any other color, i just liked them.

look for a tyre with a harder compound, i find that maxxis high rollers and continental dh last for ages

if its natural, id try to make is chilled out, maybe something by jack johnson, never seen that done before, street on the other hand id use drum & base, maybe pendulum or perhaps some rock if its crazy.

Ive been having problems with windows movie maker as it freezes when the movie gets longer than a minute or so, this is getting annyingly frequent and its becoming so that i can barley use it.

made me laugh, must have been pretty hungry though.

i stick with my trials gear, although it gets knakering it means that you dont ruin your gears when you land on the mech and it means that there is no shifter in the way of you hand.
