  1. A lighter bike would help, if you dont have much time to ride with other people I'd try to watch videos of riders not much better than yourself and try and keep up with them.
  2. Mint, really nice angles, the fisheye always decieves though, however it was bloody big riding anyway. 50"? thats insane although a 46" wall comes up to bar level on my long pitbull when on the back wheel just looks smaller than it is i spose.
  3. If you hate trials, why are you on TRIALS forum, also noone cares what you think.
  4. Really, fair enough- must have been alot sold then because I heard of a fair few snapping, im just unlucky i spose
  5. All three converters or methods seem to be giving different answers
  6. As long as its not the 06 one, the hub shell snaps fairly easily due to a fault in the grain of the metal or something, the 07 ones are beefed up- havent heard of one dying yet.
  7. Urgggh, don't, just don't, I had 2 both of which broke in under 4 days due to the teeth inside being glued in instead of machined in, they may have sorted this now, I hope, but I know alot of people had the same problem.
  8. looks like a slightly more trialsy appollo design to me
  9. I think echo 07s would be best and strongest, hold a grind well too, try alls dent very easily.
  10. 6ft 1 and 14 stone- strange- I dont look fat.. I hope
  11. Mint riding, hated the music though.
  12. Same happens to me, doesnt seem to affect the performance.
  13. oh my god that last vid was just sick
  14. High bbs generally make the bike feel easier in regards to back wheel moves, if your bunnyhopping or just rolling up a wall, yes i will make it slightly more difficult however most people dont seem to have any trouble bunnyhopping pitbulls, i find they are the easiest out of any bike i have ridden to do this. My main suggestion would be to practise.
  15. Mines 7ft something, only because I bottled a drop gap from the same wall, usually I'd only drop off things that I can get up so 4 ft is nice and smooth. Just too add, its a better idea when you dont weigh much..
  16. haha, is there a link to this vid?
  17. 2 weeks isnt soo bad, I went 14 including the christmas hols and half term because echo kept sending me usless (glued together) hubs that lasted no longer than 3 days which resulted in the wheel having to be built up 5 times. Dont bother its a waste of time.
  18. Has anyone ever tried to ride trials on a tandem bike?, or more to the point would anyone like to? - surley if you worked in perfect harmony, with a heavier person on the back and a lighter one on the front you could manage a pedalhop. If anyone has one of these lying around, itd be nice to post pictures up of your failed attempts.
  19. Beasty riding there, really enjoyed that, everything's so controlled you make it look easy.
  20. This is nmc, bad spelling is tollerated, its the whole point of it.
  21. I use zoo! brake pads which are of a similar compound, the adamants are harder so it increases wear life, this would make them more suitable for a light grind compared with the zoo's. I would warn about the backings which wobble alot compared to any other pads I've seen.
  22. What stupid things have people said to you about your bike?, So far i have, does it make a cup of tea for that price? and do those holes in your wheels make you go faster?, are they speed holes?
  23. Another question: if i hold the brake near enough fully on and try to roll the wheel backwards its makes a better sound with alot of bite, when forwards it seems to squeal and have less hold, if i had a grind i would put it down to the direction the cuts are facing howver its on a smooth rim.?
