kind of, sometimes she looks rate nice and some times, she does not. i was disappointed when she came out the water in the last ep, she wasn't as hot as i thought she'd be. kate is still the best, shame she looks like a slapper in real life.

maybe its just wishful thinking, but i really dont think its someone that is dead, at least not fully dead. it better not be anyway. i read on some theory forum that it could be paulo... remember him? he was BURIED in season 3..... some people!... i agree it probs wont be mike though, even though all signs point to it being him, if it is him then the writers are just not trying anymore.

i have my mac mini, and a wd external 500gb hdd attached by firewire. but the transfer rate is odd, when copying random files across in finder it goes quick, like normal, but sometimes it goes really slow. the only times i have noticed this is; -when importing files into itunes that are on the internal hdd, it seems to import one song, at a fast rate, then pause for 4 or 5 seconds before copying the next song. (i have it set so my library is kept on the external and itunes copies the files when importing) -when editing the song info of an itunes song, like going 'get info' and changing the song name, there is like a 4 second lag when you click ok. -in logic 8, if i have the recording path set to my external hdd, when you press record, there will be a long wait, between 20 and 60 seconds until the track starts to record. but if its set to record to internal its instant. these are minor things but i just got a bit sick of it as ive just had to rename like 20 tracks in itunes and it took ages. phil

yeh you guys are probs right, the oceanic 6 are probs just the ones who officially get of the island, there may be others who dont want to be known. ive been re-watching all 3 seasons this month and after watching the 23rd psalm again, i can say that i think there is no way they can explain lost with current technology anymore... black smoke that shows you pics of your past, time travel? no.... just no...

this is more of a 'how safe is a bike lock' thread now. as for the terrorist thing... not sure how they could think a bike is a bomb... i think if you were a bit more sneaky and walked down a few carriages before getting off the train they wouldn't see you. this was only an idea after all, just wanted to discuss it and see if it might be possible, id never actually do it.

yeah im just thinking like, friend to friend, im getting my mates bike sent up from sheff and was thinking about it. if i had a rotting bike and loads of spare time i would try it.

yeah i was just saying its not too different if you take away the illegal-ness of it, obv you would just not book a train ticket.. maybe if they had 2 bikes on the train and only one booked in they might suss yep, i like to live on the edge

all good points, but the way i was thinking about it is; if you booked a seat on the train etc, booked your bike in, and put the bike in the rack locked it up, but just didnt stay on the train, when the other person at the other end went to get the bike, the only thing that will have changed is the person... that sounds retarded but you know... if you did it all normally on your own, its not that different to just not sit in your seat and have someone else get it at the other end... and just dont buy a train ticket

yeh but if you planned it in advance you could get a lock get 2 keys send one key etc.. cheaper than posting a bike... plus the bikes aren't always locked anyway you would have to walk off to get to your seat anyway.. its risky but i reckon it could be done from some stations

Right, the other week i took a bike on a train from newcastle to sheffield and the only time my ticket got checked was when i was in my seat like normal. you just put your bike in the rack thing and go sit in your reserved seat. So, i was thinking, whats to stop someone putting a bike on a train in say, london, and someone else, waiting for the train in newcastle and getting the bike off it.. eh?... EH?? Phil

am i the only one that didn't really like the episode? i was really looking forward to finding out about/des and sayid arriving at the freighter and i was a bit disappointed, feel they could have made it more exciting. and the time travel thing is just getting stupid, what happened to the explaining it all with current science/technology?
