I can safely say the bolt on seat Idea did not take off too well , ha ha. Some people did want it though.

In a few months the new Zoot will be out, Will fall in line with the rest of the 24" street market but there has been some displayed interest in a more UCI compy style 24" based around the Limey. What you like to see in it or would you like to see one at all?
-
I'll start a new topic in trials chat so this doesnt go too off topic. The new Zoot "should" come in the following geo,
1035
+30
380
73HA
Should be a tad easier to manual then the old Zoot.
The one pictured with Scott on was pretty much a re-badged Inspired, Dave "Inspired" saw it and he knows it was just to show at some some shows and for general prat about.
The "new" one has at least 5 changes to that one pictured.

Fair points. Taken on board. lets forget about it, Ads could do a better job by far......He has access to every single part ever made. We have whats "kicking about" in the factory.
I'm gonna just not comment on this any more, The more I defend us the more un professional I am perseived. We do listen, Thats why we come on here.
One last thing, Quite a fe people like it, So do they have bad taste?
-
The frame is generic? Again that has nothing to do with it. I'm talking purely aesthetics- colour and graphics. Both real weak points of Onza in my (and I'd guess quite a few others) opinions. That's a fact. And quoting a BMXer is completely pointless- have you seen some of the 'ghetto' piles of poo they ride? They actually deliberately make their bikes look crap for the sake of it. And also, there are massive differences between the sorts of people who ride, and the 'fashions' within trials and bmx. I'm sure if you showed him most of the current trials frames he'd tell you how shit they look but then show him an Inspired or that Czar 24" Ads has just built up and he might like it because it's closer to what BMXers relate to. Can you not concede that the likes of the T-Rex colour scheme could've been thought out a bit more carefully?!
You say you can ask 100 people what colour a product could be? Well Joe asked about that in the Onza thread then IGNORED everyone who replied. This is like talking to a brick wall.
Right I'm getting bored of saying this now, I've said it was not the colour I chose, I do listen to everyone. Saying I and Onza Ignore everyone is a little rude and just plain offensive. I could name several occasions where I have listened to TF but how can I get the colour right when the ideas are so varied? I mean, Everyone asks for a disc tab, So we fit one. Everyone says its too heavy, I lighten it.
Please explain why some people like the colour?( let me guess they have no taste like me) Shall I send all of the frames back? WHAT DO YOU WANT? WHAT DO I DO TO PLEASE YOU?

Think the T-Bird was 20" back then , Get a tape measure and check the diameter of the rear rim.
-
Massive stuff there, Your frame came last wek, I'm going to pop down to the factory in a bit to photo it so you should get it before crimbo, 1.6 KG stiff sturdy and loooong.
-
Nice one buddy.

2010 range will be out late March, It will include...
Rip Blue
Rip Red
Bird
Pro
Blade
Comp
Zoot 24" street
18" Master
Joe still needs to show me some action on it, Him and Craig Lee Scott are having the same problem, Dark nights and lack of people to video them. Craigs new frame arrived here last week by the way plus two new 26" proto's.
-
Matt, 9762 20" riders.
Thats a nice bike, but we built that one as a sample with what we had at the factory. Judge us on next years 2010 range where we have spent the time and we specced everything in Taiwan.
-
But in quantities, what does the number one 20" trials frame sell? Are we talking 100, 500 worldwide?
I would not know but at a guess the 4 play would be number one in trials and even with the vast success Inspired have had with it (Danny Macs vid etc) I think 500 would be a risk to make in one go.
-
Well I can assure you we did not make 500, Not even half that. I think we get lost in the world of trials and think its bigger then actually is.
-
Oh Joe, I couldn't possibly. I've already suggested possibilities, as have quite a few others. Jewish Racing Gold/Bronze wasn't on the list . It does surprise me that you only do batches of 50- is it not cheaper to go for something like 500 or so to ship world wide? Seems like a very ssmall run but I guess if the price difference isn't much then fair do's.
Would you say the Ice was in the top 5 selling frames of 2009?
-
From what Joe Seddon was telling me today, the anodized the frames because it was cheaper to anodize a batch of frames as the equipment was set up, the original colour was supposed to be the Ti/pewter colour that Joe Seddon had on one of his proto frames, but the factory were unable to supply this colour and Onza Joe agreed to this alternative colour..... just what i was told today, so don't slate me!
Personally i think the frame in gold with black complimentary looks great! Black bikes are too common as are white and silver, green was done on the Limey 20 and this gold is just a bit different.... you cant please everyone and if you tried you'd only get slated for "copying" other manufacturers.
You are right Craig, Its not the colour I chose. But anodizing is more expensive, We saved money by not printing new graphics. Some people really like it. Some people don't. One thing is for sure not everyone would buy it so hopefully everyone that does like it, buys it. Also we are not exactly struggling to sell the 50 that have been made, Next batch can have the colour changed. Maybe monkey see monkey do would like the chance choose the colour? Baring in mind if the public didn't like his choice he would foot the bill for 50 frames sat there not selling. Thats not a dig its just I wish people would understand that you will never ever ever please everyone and you sure hell wont get everyone to ride the same bike. If I please 50 people across the world with this frame then I have done well. We can change the colour again and again.
One last thing, Hands up have seen it in the flesh? Anodized colours change in different light and Gold is not really its true colour, Maybe more bronze.
-
Okey......Thought we would be a bit different.
Black......"looks heavy"
Baby Blue "looks like the GU, Inspired blah blah"
Green "already done on the Limey 20"
Red "looks nasty"
White "Yawn"
Purple "Gay"
The list carrys on, Some peolpe lik it some people dont. I'm sorry. This is the 3rd build pictured in bike pictures and no one seemed to really dis liked the other builds.....Maybe the forks and spokes are not to taste but if you can not see past them then again I'm sorry.
-
I'll remember that for next time.
-
-
Nice build dude,
Just building a couple here. Managed to get some matching gold spokes for them too. Looks pretty pimp.
-
Nice, Shame I still haven't seen one in the flesh yet.
Will have them next week with a 5 sets of matching forks. Will build up one with Double Hope disc and Black parts.
-
I hope he was filming it!!! Yes we are making one, About £500 and will be released in March with the 2010 range along with the new 24" Zoot too.
-
Ha ha, You have seen the little critter then. Great fun to ride, It is 18".
Yes his is fluro yellow at the moment, Joe Seddon that is.
-
Ice is better street geo..
Limey's better natty..
both pretty sweet though, but just for the high BB and longish frame I'd go with the ice..
Correct, 1020 Ice and Limey 320 1000. Limey is about 300 grames lighter too. Available in a week,
-
About 1 week, Give me a shout.
-
Nice one Jack, He is on a Skull for the time being while he waits for his new Limey 3 20" to arrive. About 2 weeks.

Should have pictures about Feb-ish, Really dont want to release too much about it as we want to keep an edge on competitors. (Thats not just to do with the Zoot, More the whole range)
