  1. Not yet, Will let you know when we have and idea,

    That is Joe's new bike.

Wheelbase with the new forks make it 1010, +70, 350.

Rear rim will be released later this year.

We could get it lighter yes, but it was not a project it was just Joe putting his bike together from all the bits he had.

Should be out around November time.

  2. Joe popped in for a chat today to show me his bike. I picked it up and was instantly impressed of the weight. Got it on the Scales and it weighs and incredible 7.8KG.

Proto forks and rear rim on display too.

Just thought you may want a gander.

  3. I don't get why you need to wait for them to arrive before deciding on an RRP... is that how all Onza products are priced? On a whim when you see them in the flesh? 'Umm... think we'll charge... £314.99 for this frame (Y).'

Not having a dig and from what I've seen (and heard) of Scott's proto's the freewheel should be pretty immense but considering you've obviously paid for the design, tooling, manufacture and shipping surely you have an RRP to charge to recoup the costs while turning a profit?

On a side note, will spare parts be available for the freewheels? I like being able to service my ENO and replace any bits as and when necessary (not that I've had to).

Mainly because I was at Moore Large and had no idea how much they cost. Plus you have to work out the shipping and duty to be added etc etc..... Price is £44.99, Will be here on Friday now. Tarty should get them on Monday.

    Cheers

  4. I am very pleased to announce that Craig Lee Scott with be working along side us for the development of the 2010 Anniversary range. He will have a prototype frame sent to him this week to test which will be new Pro and Blade frame. He will tweak the geometry to suit him and also accommodate most street riders who like longish frames. The Comp frame will be the shorter version of these frames to suite its name obviously.

He has been off the radar over past few years due to commitments at University but hopefully you should be seeing a lot more of him now. His degree also may aide us too as it was in graphic design I believe (Correct me if I'm wrong Craig) and it has been said his input may not just be on how the frames ride but how they look too. I'm sure having Craig on board on the development side will be great and a huge pleasure to work with. The range will be released around February time next year. With him now at an age where he has vast amounts of experience I can not wait to see some of his Ideas.

For those that can not remember Craig he was one of the hottest 20" street riders of the 21st century and I'm sure some members on here would be happy to post some of their favorite vid links up for you.

    Cheers

  5. If its the proto I think it is then is around 3 years old, No warranty. It a slight different approach we have to take on on proto's. We sell them at a severe reduced price in the first place. phone us if you have any queries on the matter.

  6. Think onza should make an onza ice 2 with a disc tab and shorter wheelbase higher bb , in other words i comp bike , would be great to see this happen.

    Rob.

Dont want to let it slip but wait until you see the 2010 range, Its our 10th anniversary and we are making sure you like it. It has everyones ideas and comments put in to function and I'm very excited about the response. Not till next year mind you so don't expect any sneak peaks. You guys make us, So please carry on with your ideas. Comp and street have been took into consideration so i hope you like it. The current Ice is sold out as far as we have but there may be a few shops with them left. The second batch is being made and it will have a disc mount for all you disc lovers. The Limey 320 is being tested and should be released hopefully with out any hic cups around Oct time.

    Cheers

  7. It's cracked on the other side aswell, so its obviously not been mis judged 500 times because the chainstays arn't even that bad, i know why it has cracked at the dropouts but it's not for me to say, but I just know that your wrong.

The chain stay I saw was hammered.

  8. Do you mean the drop out that has sold over a thousand and you have named 3 that have "broken". Jack broke his disc mount any way not the drop out. Swindlehurst never told me he had broken his Ice. He said he wanted a change. You broke yours because you mis judged a side hop like a 500 times. And you still are the only person I know to break one.

  9. Okey, I have ordered them. On your head be it. Paint job will probley not change as its been quite original and successful.

no way was it you i spoke to on the phone on monday?? you told me it was the last one sweeet no way! haha

Yeah it was me! Didn't know wit was you. ha ha.
