I can SEE the classified forum... And I'm interested in a few things he's selling... But how am I supposed to close a deal when I can't post in there?! I have moneys sat here waiting!!
I have very good English skills, and I'm still not validated after 3 months of using this forum so I wouldnt worry about it. To me, it seems a lot of people are on their high horses on this forum.
The bars are Azonic double walls - 2" rise. They are a bit too high to be honest. I'm after a bit more clearance around the groin area too, hence the mini seat idea, that should give me 2 extra inches standover.
Quite a few things changed in the past few months... http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1379717/ Thinking of getting a mini trials seat, better brake booster, and trials specific flat bars and stem (which will ruin the old-school image). Opinions?
Whatever you do, DO NOT get the Alex DX32 rim. i've learnt my lesson with that one lol. reason: ive managed to flat spot it within 2 rides. I've really gotta stop going for the cheap option.
Does anyone have any experience of this one? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models....p;PartnerID=371 it's half the price of the 'echo' one on tartybikes and half the weight. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=13
I've gone and bought a new rim now anyways... an Alex dx32 (i wanted something wider anyway). i'm gonna keep it smooth and see what these new 'disco pads (http://www.discobrakes.com/?aid=2105&p=158&)' are like. and if they are rubbish then i will fork out for some heatsink V-brake pads/backings.
Where can i find some? (apart from ebay). What ones are best? Will they plug straight into my pashley without a seat post? Do they sit LOW on the frame, giving me more stand-over clearance?
