  1. I can SEE the classified forum... And I'm interested in a few things he's selling... But how am I supposed to close a deal when I can't post in there?! I have moneys sat here waiting!!
  2. I have very good English skills, and I'm still not validated after 3 months of using this forum so I wouldnt worry about it. To me, it seems a lot of people are on their high horses on this forum.
  3. I wouldn't buy it, i'd rather actually be out riding in real life.
  4. Don't worry about your weight... I'm 6foot and only 10 stone. Better than being fat, i say.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ts5QJg-RNc Nuff said.
  6. The bars are Azonic double walls - 2" rise. They are a bit too high to be honest. I'm after a bit more clearance around the groin area too, hence the mini seat idea, that should give me 2 extra inches standover.
  7. Quite a few things changed in the past few months... http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1379717/ Thinking of getting a mini trials seat, better brake booster, and trials specific flat bars and stem (which will ruin the old-school image). Opinions?
  8. Cheers for the replys. i'll have a play around this weekend, and i've learnt my lesson with going for the cheap options.
  9. Whatever you do, DO NOT get the Alex DX32 rim. i've learnt my lesson with that one lol. reason: ive managed to flat spot it within 2 rides. I've really gotta stop going for the cheap option.
  10. Any advice on getting rid of flat spots? Or do I just ignore it? I'm not happy that i've managed to knacker my new rim within 2 rides
  11. does anyone know what seat this is on this pashley here? http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/308679/ cos i think it looks cool.
  12. i NEVER have anyone to ride with... but am i bothered?
  13. cos i want one that's stiffer than my outland one.
  14. Does anyone have any experience of this one? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models....p;PartnerID=371 it's half the price of the 'echo' one on tartybikes and half the weight. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=13
  15. I live in Basingstoke, so i would have been up for this if i wasn't busy this weekend. Oh, and it looks like rain anyway.
  16. I've gone and bought a new rim now anyways... an Alex dx32 (i wanted something wider anyway). i'm gonna keep it smooth and see what these new 'disco pads (http://www.discobrakes.com/?aid=2105&p=158&)' are like. and if they are rubbish then i will fork out for some heatsink V-brake pads/backings.
  17. Ummmmm yes? I couldn't find any, hence me asking on here...
  18. Where can i find some? (apart from ebay). What ones are best? Will they plug straight into my pashley without a seat post? Do they sit LOW on the frame, giving me more stand-over clearance?
  19. HUH? All those rims have EXACTLY the same dimensions?!
  20. White. with purple parts here and there.
  21. what's the braking surface like WITHOUT a grind?
  22. I was hoping for loads of excellents comments about the Alex. But no1 seems fussed so i'm guessing it's not all that good.
