Another vote for the half life games.. I am still playing black hawk down as well..That must be a good 6 years old now.. Just out of interest how good is halo 3, few of my school friends don't shut up about it. Is it really worth all the hype it is getting?

I am not going to disagree with what they are doing..It is there way of making money. But I think the ways they do it are completely unnecessary. I mean why the hell didn't they kill the poor things before they took its skin off. I really did feel sorry for it, still alive covered in blood without its skin/fur.. Surely it would make it easier for them to do if was dead? I really don't know what to think but I would hope that that video was a extreme example. I am pretty sure I haven't wrote anything anyone can have a dig at me for.

I am doing maths and Physics (I was in the intermediate maths GCSE class but moved up to higher in the last term and got a A and was in the Double award science class and got A-A). So far they are both fine. (Only one week in) I'm doing them along a double Engineering course which is basically more maths and physics along with some other stuff so I'd Imagen that is giving me a hand. (Showing me how to apply what we learn as someone has already said) But as someone has said go grab some books and pick up some extra info of what you have been taught. If you put the extra time in to figure out what you don't get I'd Imagen you'd be fine. Or just google what you are stuck with. Be careful with that as we all know how much crap is on there though....

Just spoke to tom-trials..Basicly..He he dosn't have chance to get on/sort stuff out as he is out 6am till 6:30 pm with work. He says that royal mail has sent is stuff back to him and he will try to get it sent out again tomorrow if he gets the chance.. Well that is it..

Yeah looking at £30 quid labor at my Halfords. Very similar at my lbs as far as I am aware. It is probably easier just to keep the money then persuade him to take it back..You may end up in the awkward 'Nah it is all right, you keep it' situation. As long as you have made a good job of it you shouldn't feel guilty at all. Sounds liek you have saved him some time+money.

I'd as him for you but I haven't seen him around for ages. They defiantly have had them in the past and I'd Imagen they could order you one in.

Are they the conti travel contact semi's these I'll need some new tires when I get my xc bike for getting to school work (should be soonish) How do you find them? are they ok for hard pack gravel as well as road use. The other tire I am thinking of is the Panaracer Mach SS Slightly cheaper and a fair bit lighter but not really sure.

That bike is seriously tempting for that money I'll give him a pm soonish:). As for changing the wheels I really can't afford that and school is 5 miles away pretty much all flat and work is a 3 mile uphill slog (both take about 30 mins on the trials bike)so I don't think I'd really need to change wheels for that sort distance. I may sort it out in the future if I do get annoyed with changing tires.

Cheers for the offer but I'm just over 6ft 2 so that is going to be way to small for me. I'll be fine changing the tires at most it will be twice a week (before and after weekend) I was thinking about getting some semi slick tires. Either the continental travel contact or the panaracer mach ss so the tires would be suitable for road/hard pack and I'd only need to change them if I was to be riding mud/shitty conditions. Um.. I think I've pretty much made my mind up for a xc bike now. I'll have a look at the sales and stuff see if I can find anything better than the Fury for the money.

Yeah the discount is abit naff but even with out it the only bike that touches the fury on spec for the money is the decathalon rock rider 8.1 as far as I can see. I've had a look in the sales and there's a few nice bikes going cheap but I still don't know weather to get a road bike or xc..I think I'm torn more towards xc as they can be used more widely and I know nothing about what is good or bad on road bikes. Ill go have a look around my lbs I know a few guys there who can get me 10% even the bikes that are already discounted. I'd just change the tires around anyway I wouldn't really need two wheel sets would I?

Hey all. I really can't decide weather to get a road or xc bike. I have 500 quid to spend. I was looking at getting a Carrera Fury but I'm not sure how much I'll actually be able to use it riding off road trails so I then thought about road bikes but this really would limit me to road only. Is there really a huge difference in speed with a xc bike with some slick tires and a locked out fork then a proper road bike. I'll be using it to get to school and work and if i do get a xc bike i'd really liek to get out on some trails with it like I've said. Also the other thing that is putting me of xc is I don't know of any trails around derby that are with in cycling distance or near a station. I may have not looked very hard but if any of you could point me in the direction of some that would be mint Soo..If you own a road or xc bike then post some bull about why you like/don't like it to help me decide. Oh what ever it is it needs to come from Halfords as I work there so get discount. (I know, I know. I said Halfords but the upper range Carrera's are actually pretty decent.) I've also tried to put a poll up but I don't know weather it will work as I've never done one before Thanks any help

What happened to them been 7 quid..I was gonna get one as well.. As for your brake do you run a grind or use tar? What pads are you running. How is it set up..Do the pads hit the rim level and at the same time? Is there alot of frame flex making it feel spongy.

I take it you are been sarcastic?..It is a little jumbled but as I wrote it quick but I'm sure it isn't too hard to get the what I meant. Anyway for around 100 quid (just from typing Onza into ebay) T-Vee for 150 T-pro for 150 *Edit* Why do ebay links never work?..I am sure a few others have trouble with them or is it just me. There were a few others as well.

I'm sorry but if you don't think you can get a trials bike for under 100 quid then you really haven't been looking hard enough. Also I see no reason why this need to be closed. He hasn't asked anyone to sell him one just point out where he could get one from. You're only real hope is E-bay. Look for a old Onza T-bird or T-vee. Or a old mission or Monty. Something will come up but don't expect it to be in mint condition or a new bike. Also it is worth asking people in you local area. You may be able to scrounge enough to build up a bike for very little money. One of my friends sold him 3 year old T-bird for 80 quid about 3 months ago. (And that had the V's upgraded to maggys) Good luck hunting.

I just though..What about a Rating/review system like what Chain Reaction has where people who own/have used what ever thing can tell other people what they think about it. It works very well on CRC and I find it very useful. All you need is for people to write the reviews and rate stuff or it wouldn't really be very useful. I am sure they would though as people bother to do such things on here to help others out so I could see it been pretty good. Not sure if it has been brought up before but meh Just a thought. Just another idea again based on CRC..There ask them a question link at the bottom of the page. I think it has been disabled now but it is easier than mailing or phoning just to ask a quick question and it would be there for others to see.

As someone has said cause you can. Also I am guessing you are older and at 16 I Imagen I value 10 quid alot higher than what you would. I have to work 2.3 hours to earn 10 quid ( I get 4.33 a hour at Halfords) so I am not going to miss out on getting it for free...It is well worth the effort of filling out a couple of forms.

I didn't find them remotely stressful. I do however think it would be better to have 4 or 5 exams for each subject spread over the two years so the grade doesn't depend almost entirely on one exam or the course work should count for more. My history course work was worth 40% and it is a good job I did well in it cause I buggered up the exam. Almost all my other subjects were around 20% Other than ICT where is was about 60%. There is too higher chance of people cheating with all course work so I couldn't see that happening for the major subjects.

If you parents total wage comes to under 30k is mark I think (Don't quote me on this you will have to check it) then yes you get a tenner a week. If under 20k (again check it) a year 20 a month and there is one for 30 quid a month. You will have to check the values though as I can't remember exactly. I know the 30k one isn't far off..

9:30..I really need to start thinking about going to bed..but it ain't going to happen.. I wish I knew I would feel like this before the exams started..I might have been a little more bothered. I just know what ever I get I could have done so much better. I need B's in what ever subjects I want to do next year to get back+nothing less than C so it is going to be tight

Haha quality I don't think any employees would be bothered about him missing a RE grade though..I Imagen it is completely worthless..I may be very wrong though.. Just realized there is only 10 hours till I can get mine...holy f**k
