  1. It isn't a mile you noob, it's 6" if that. And as I have said many times due to the camber of the road NOBODY parks there because it is basically a gutter.
  2. You know what really gets on my tits?! c**ts, utter c**ts that think their piece of shit is so amazing that they have to park it sideways across two spaces at a show just so everyone can see how "totes amazeballs" their over compensating cars are. When people all around them have parked like normal human beings. All it does is show that the owner of that car went to that show just to massage their own ego. I made this meme to try and explain it better - And on that bomb shell I would just like to say that I did get out of bed the right side this morning, it just really annoys me.
  3. My bloody exhaust isn't on the bloody piss and it can't physically be any higher up without cutting into the boot floor.
  4. I met up with VAG friends today.
  5. A bit of both Rods will ensure my car can take anything I can throw at it in the future. Whilst the pistons and crank are good for 500bhp+, rods seem to bend anywhere between standard power and 300bhp. f**k knows why VAG thought to use such widely varying quality of parts in an engine haha. Next month I/Phil are both fitting rods to our engines, he is fitting £480 rods...Because "that's how much they cost." Partly in the name of science and partly out of being a stinge my rods are £138 and widely available on eBay. I am also buying a medium sized hybrid turbo which uses all my current fixing points and hardware £269... So for the less than Phils rods I can have both and hopefully around 260/270bhp. The reason why I am going this way is because in America EVERYONE with a 1.8t has a $1200 cheap ebay GT28 setup and has 350bhp. So they have to work. Lots of guys on Driftworks and the like buy these turbos for £200 then run them for a year and if they last send them off to be rebuilt or throw them in the spares bin for next year. If they fail they box them up and send them back because they have a one year warranty. And obviously we have got Simon who has some frankenstein second hand ebay special turbo which gets rinsed and loves it whilst making huge power and never breaking. Apparently it is all down the the fitment of the hardware and the quality isn't bad at all.
  6. No, it was me lifting off lightly in a vague attempt to regain traction.
  7. No DC2, I decided A3 is staying.
  8. I couldn't believe how easy the timing belt is on my 1.8t, I did it myself with guidance from Phil and it was a nice job to be honest.
  9. Don't really know to be fair, £2000 I guess. Probably advertise it at £2295 and hope for the best. What do you think?
  10. My post was more aimed at Prawn saying he bought cars based on hype and then sold them due to not being as great as he thought. Sex toys, pfft. I'm like an action man, I have no genitals.
  11. Yeah f**k it, I'll buy you a DC2 if you give me 2K for my Audi. Job's a good un '.
  12. What he said. But this Tic - http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/honda/integra/98-spec-phoenix-yellow-integra-type-r-dc2-jdm-forged-engine-with-jenvey-itbs-238bhp/992312
  13. I'm not too fussed to be honest, I actually prefer the UK front end. I've probably watched this twenty times.
  14. Me too; I went in Matts and f**king hated it. But I think that's because his was a shed. I think I'm drawn to the reliability, the heritage and history of the 90's R cars, the feel and fit and finish. Interior wise as well as feel they're very similar and use a lot of the same switch gear as my dads Rover, so I know I like those bits and pieces. It's another "must have" car to knock off the list I guess, you never know I might actually like it.
  15. Ok, cheers. Prawn will confirm, I have been banging on about getting a DC2 for over a year. We'll see, I want a totally standard one.
  16. Uk car. I am presuming ring wear/bore wear is the biggest issue internally? Cheers.
  17. I don't think I ever took the piss about Hondas? Only about having no torque, and a B18 isn't that bad. Oh and about Simon ruining them.
  18. Poor boys is great, and not too expensive. I don't know, its just a DC2 to me. I have wanted one for a while, a lad who works across the road from one just swapped his Integra for an EP and the guy who had the EP is missing the refinement of the EP. So I might be able to sweep up the pieces.
  19. It's ok, a bit gymicky though. I used to snow foam everything when I had a drive way; if you have got a dedicated cleaning space and have a dedicated afternoon a week to do it properly then yes it is a really nice way to clean your car. If you haven't got the dedicated time and space for it then it will be wasted and don't bother. - Hilariously, I have got somebody with a DC2 coming to look at the A3 tomorrow. So I guess my lack of torque ruling was all bollocks haha.
  20. E30 deal is a no go, fuel pump screams like a small child in a microwave and the guy wants a grand on top of the A3 which isn't how I roll. He liked the A3 and I liked the BM, but we couldn't agree a deal and neither of us would budge on what our vehicles were worth. Gutted about your clutch Matt.
