  1. well everyone was just laughing all day....well till i took it all off because it was getting in the way of my leg's and feet.
  2. well wanted to do something funny for the start of the ride and like i said. back in the day its the silly things that the pro's done for the fun of it...
  3. i was bored at work and had martin hawyes come into the bike shop i work in (now he is a rep for fisher's) seeing martin made me remember that back in the good old day's he used to dress up in panto outfits for a giggle in MBUK shot's i was attending a bike ride the next day in portsmouth with alot of other ridiers and i thought to my self....how can i stand out like he used to. so i did this...... LMAO.
  4. its the task to do something....the fact you can look at something and say i can get up there on a bike.... i done dirt jumping ad bmxing but with that its all about speed and guts, where i find trials is about skill and passion wanting to do it is the goal in trials and wanting to improve....nothing to do with speed, its all bout skill stuie x
  5. i guess the people i know that have tried are tits then lol i hate gears so not needed to try lol
  6. I have had the same happen to me, it turned out to be a trapped nurve. the doctor said to me to keep it strapped up and just rest it. so when it came to my mate's going out riding i went......but with a video cam and shot a video so best bet mate is rest up and like others have sed if its still bad then see the doctor bout it
  7. This is a bit confusing, people are saying run a KMC but have you not noticed he is running gear's and KMC's cant really run on gear's from what people i know have tried. best bet is a good normal MTB chain that run's on the amount of gear's that you want to run and also like has been said, the simple thing's like lub on the chain every now and then. that one thing is important to keep a chain from running well. i work in a bike shop and the amount of people we have come in that ride trial's, street or dirt and they dont lub there chain or anything else and they always have problem's..... i guess the meaning behind this is kepp you chain and moving parts of you're bike lub'd
  8. this is getting silly guys. it was only a question bout what you thought bout a bike, not whos done what to monty bike's. this is yet again another topic that has gone well out of the lines of what has been asked.
  9. it was ok i was riding bournemouth town center earlier.was ok then it started spitting so headed off to asda and rode the curb bit's under there. was there for bout an 3 hour's. learnt some cool stuff to...front to back wheel etc etc.
  10. i have seen afew reviews and im not to sure on them, i can't really comment as i ride a stock. alot of people i kno ride mod's and they are not to over keen on them from what they say but can't tell as not tried 1 out to see how they feel
  11. Welcome to this wonderful place... you can learn so much from here and also pass you're knollage to others if someone needs to know something and you know the answer if people get funny with you just take it with a pinch of salt because people can get funny for no reason good luck x
  12. try finding a place with a loading bay that also has plaets there. just ask the securty later on if you start riding there and say you will not leave litter or a mess and that you will put the plaets bk neatly. hopefully they will allow you to ride there then all is good, you have a spot to ride when its wet
  13. chains magura levers frame stripped a stem bolt thread pedals cables hoes's and finaly chain rings
  14. yes it dose due to the compound of the pad and if the wear down quickly or not to how well they bite on the rim
  15. i have tried that but it felt very very strange as soon as you're riding around with out a bag on, plus it can also throw you off balance by a strap of the bag moving or something like that
  16. and the best way to do that is by putting you're back wheel against a wall and just leaning back and lifting the front wheel uptill it feels bout rite then lift you're feet and hold it there.. that should give you a rough idea of you're balancing point
  17. i would say this man knows his stuff but you can tell that by reading what he has put on here well done yound david x
  18. depends on how hard you ride really. me and my mate grind our rims at the same time and his needs to be done befor mine does. just give it ago and see how it does
  19. no problem at all dude. if you need to kow anything else just give me a shout and add me as a friend on here and i will answer anything you need, if i can't i am sure that some one i ride with in NBR CYCLES.COM will be able to help you
  20. sorry to change the topic slightly but dave, where did you get the white TPA on you're lever. i think one would look sweet on my beast
  21. its his birthday tomoro...lol hes turning into a little man. i know he run's water but its all bout his hair, it's so he can slick it down when he need's to...
  22. i run the echo team booster http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=165 its only a two bolt but i think it run's really well.
  23. i went from bmxing to trials and found it hard at 1st keep you're arms as straight as poss lean back but keep you're legs slightly bent and use then to ether lower the front or bring the front back up. easier option but i found harder to do on a trials bike because the back break is so good, just touch the back break every now and then to bring the front down if you feel like you are going over the back hope this helps
  24. well all the people that i ride with in the NBR CYCLES team all run water bleeds and i thought the same as you but they had no problems so i thought i would give it a go and its one of the best things i have done. feels so so much better x
  25. just add i tiny bit of anti-freeze and it will be fine through the winter.
